Guest Benny K
Sorry, can't help you Boom. But I did have a question re: Hux FLux. I am seeing them live in Melbourne tomorrow night and was wondering if anyone has ehard much of their new stuff. i haven't heard anything from them since Cryptic and I was wondering what their style is like now? Has it changed much? Still very psychedelic? Full-on sounds? Here's hoping......
Guest Fiba Optix
Hi Benny, haven't heard any of their new material, but I'm hoping it will be even crazier than before. Check the review on inthemix.com.au. Cheers Fiba
Guest reece
check there last 12" on spiral trax, - 'errorhead' and 'lex rex perplex' kickin tracks, but alot more restrained than their 'idiot' days :-) and seeing as how the album is gonna be on spiral trax, well... - they arent really known for releasing mind-bending ultru freakadelic trance... but who knows, perhaps we'll be pleasantly suprised!? damn i wish i could be in sydney to see em live in the forest!!!!!!!!!!! BooMz, :-)
Guest liarliar
Actually there are not much new stuff i think. What comes to my mind is maybe 2 tracks after Cryptic Crunch idiot / bring your own bios (correct me if im wrong). The last track from them should be bring your own bios, released on the folded view compilation on Creamcrop. This is in my opinion their best tracks, and the weirdest one! According to Spiral Trax website they still have 2 tracks left to write for the new album. So i'm guessing we won't see it in 2002! Guest Fiba Optix
Reece, agree about spiraltrax not releasing mindbending stuff, but when Richard Ahlberg was out here in March, he played some of their unreleased trax & none of his set was restrained :-) Since they are playing down here in Sydney why aren't you hopping on a plane matey? Cheers Fiba p.s. according to Dennis, the album was ready a while ago, Anti didn't want to release it during the northern hemisphere summer. Lets just hope they release it asap. I'll put the hard word on him!
