PKS
First artist album on Chill Tribe Records is done by no other than Kristian Thinning Andersen, a veteran in the electronic music scene, most known as Elysium, as well as other projects such as Kaaya with Paul Jackson, Kailash with Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Sheyba with Jean Borelli (Orion) etc. He has been a recording artist since 1992, releasing on labels such as R&S, KK/Nova Zembla, Dragonfly, Flying Rhino, BNE and Avatar Records to name a few. Here he is back with his new project called Wombatmusic, giving us a beautiful journey into the relaxed side of electronic music, exploring various styles such as chillout, electro, techno, ethnic world music, funk, disco, tribal etc. A melting pot of influences that make his music unpredictable and hard to categorise. All income from the CD sales goes uncut to the support of the Lebanese refugee children in Lebanon. Release date: 27th Of April 2007 Wombatmusic – Shameful Silence (Chill Tribe Records) CTRCD04 1. World Travelling Eclipse Chasers 2. A Poem Of Hope 3. Artificial Earth Satellite 4. 96 + A Few Seconds 5. Time Zones 6. Future Society 7. You Are On My Mind 8. Copalectrocabana 9. Why Not? 10. Shimmering Madness And Hovering Butterflies 11. Shameful Silence I 12. Shameful Silence II “When I saw the amount of dead, suffering and destruction the current conflict with Israel generated in Lebanon I instantly knew I could not stay silent and knew I had to do something to raise my voice to what I see as a violation of all Human Rights laws. I was in the middle of recording my new downbeat/electronica CD and decided to donate all the sales to a Lebanese Benefit Organisation that focus on the Children. Children are always those who suffer the most. They get scars for life and can not as us adults rationalise the events. They are those who loose their parents and those who's future is most affected. I believe artists have a very powerful voice through music. With music and lyrics we can make people think and care. And most of all wanting to change things! It is our obligation to raise our voices if we feel we have something to say.” Shops: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/ctr/ctr1cd004.html http://www.saikosounds.com/english/show_la...sp?label_id=650 Wombatmusic: http://www.myspace.com/wombatmusic http://www.wombatmusic.eu http://www.wombatmusic.eu/releases/rel_flyer.jpg http://www.downbeats.eu Red Cross: http://www.dm.net.lb/redcross Chill Tribe Records: http://www.myspace.com/chilltriberecords http://www.chilltriberecords.com Distribution http://arabesque.co.uk//index.php?option=c...Itemid=99999999
