Shaft Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Sounds like an interesting release - mashing up drum + bass, idm, glitch and breakcore. Solid release or no go? #10 sounds pretty funky. http://www.hymen-records.com/ - argentum (757) Quote
Time_Trap Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Yes it's melodic in a uhm cheerful & glitchy way. I haven't given it many listens , around 2-3 times I've heard the album, seems at least nice Quote
Gnome Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Very good indeed. Keef Baker gets better with every release. Quote

Shaft Posted April 21, 2007 Author Posted April 21, 2007 class good but im not really into breakcore amazing release probably the best release of 2006 IMO i have no idea - - Just trying new directions in music - - - Sound like a nice release - with remixes from SO artists and Merck artists (including Proem, Landau, Secede, Kettel, Funckarma etc) Quote
Gnome Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 - Just trying new directions in musicThat's always an interesting thing to do.There is soo much good electronica out there. In case you decide to get that Ginormous album,i would suggest you look at the double cd Hymen released just after the debut. Quote
Starlancer Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Enduser - Form Without Function (Hymen) Has some good moments. As it happens with most releases of that genre, i like a few tracks but not the album as a whole. An interesting release by enduser is this http://www.discogs.com/release/398435 it has some remixes of relatively well-known tracks Quote
Shaft Posted April 21, 2007 Author Posted April 21, 2007 Proem - You Shall Have Ever Been (Merck) Machine Drum - Mergers and Acquisitions (Merck) Placed order, was looking at these for a while and took the plunge. Quote
