abasio
So why won't you buy it from Mars or Anoebis? I'm sure they can find some other way for you to pay than Paypal (bank transfer perhaps?). This is a time when being in Japan really doesn't work out. Bank transfer is expensive and this backwards place has no cheque system

Bank transfer is expensive and this backwards place has no cheque system Oh, sorry to hear that. It should make you feel better to know that in Poland bank charges me nearly 10EUR for every money I RECIEVE from abroad in foreign currencies. THAT sucks. That's why I have to stick to PayPal, even though I hate their stupid policies...

Kai-Q
It is a pity that this auction is legal. To selling re-releases or releases (which you can get very easy) for high prices, is a swnishness. Someone must hack his eBay account.
Guest antic
It is a pity that this auction is legal. To selling re-releases or releases (which you can get very easy) for high prices, is a swnishness. Someone must hack his eBay account. Come on now Kai. Didn't you ever found some rare gem in a second hand store cheap and sold it high? I did it few times, earning couple hundred percent on it (best examples - IFO & Trip To Trancesylvania). Though admittedly the extra money were then spent either here, on discogs or eBay, to buy something I wouldn't be able to find and/or afford otherwise. It would be an ideal situation, where you could buy any given CD at lowest possible price available, but in reality the knowledge and geographical location determines who can buy what and at what price. I'm for example 100% certain that there are some Israeli / Japanese / Swedish etc. forums where people are selling / trading rare CDs at low prices, but most of us don't have access there and don't know the language. I've found some of the rarest CDs on Polish boards and Polish eBay clones, and I'm sure it's even more possible in countries with bigger and older psytrance market. But of course - selling a widely available CD at high price, claiming it was out-of-print and rare should be forbidden and punished, though frankly I doubt it will ever happen. As long as there are people wanting to buy something, there will be others willing to sell it.
abasio
Did anyone see the ebay auction selling the Sony PS3 (picture) it said many times in the description that it was just the picture not the console but some twat still paid over US$1000 for it! If people are too stupid to read what they are buying or check out what they are buying then they deserve to be ripped off. I would love someone to give me a grand for a photo of a PS3! Guest antic
+1 But really, nowadays I read the item's description 2-3 times before bidding even the smallest amount. Far too many CDs without cover

I ended up supporting my local psy shop & purchasing a copy in person
