Jon Cocco
What do you consider one or even some of most heavenly and beautiful songs ever? Maybe the song brings you to heaven so to speak, or it's just one of the most dreamy, gorgeous things you've ever heard. A track or tracks that sound so beautiful, elegant, lush, maybe even intoxicating, etc. GOA / PSY Chi A.D. ... no-nonsense
Those Chi-A.D. tunes are totally spot-on. From the psy-trance realm, Human Blue "Travelling" and Aes Dana "Aftermath #8" are gorgeous too. Beautiful tracks in the "Other Genres" department: Any Alcest song. It hasn't come out yet but "Souvenirs d'un autre monde" is already my album of the year. Or how to create pure ethereal bliss using black metal guitars. Slowdive - "When the sun Hits" Anathema - "Everwake" Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent) Boards of Canada - "Roygbiv" Ulrich Schnauss - "A Letter from Home" Autechre - "Nine" Orbital - "Halcyon +on +on"
Otto Matta
Wow. Good question. I don't think of psychedelic trance when I think of "celestial". It's too earthy for that. When I think of celestial I think: Enya - S/T David Arkenstone - Valley in the Clouds (first and best album) beatless Steve Roach Brian Eno's ambient stuff (On Land, Shutov Assembly, etc.) Tim Hecker, for the kind of thing that gives you personal views from your capsule, as opposed to romanticized versions of what it might be like. Shuttle358 - Frame, for the music that's playing in your capsule as you observe 1000 years from now.

Bahamut
eh scary... well anyway, the music is the only thing that matters and it can be very profound, composition wise it's more like classical music than ambient/new age

Guest jonne
Jaia - Mai Mai. Superbly angelic goa tune. I didn't read this topic so probably it's there already. Then there is the great tune from Portugese young unsigned artist who is now about 20 years old. I don't remember the artist or the track name. Besides he removed it from his profile on acid planet But it's absolutely gorgeous, made with reason and maybe something else. Sample before the outstanding melody goes something like "here we have a classical .... of good versus evil." I kinda miss the track. It's really one of the best EVER
Ormion
There is only one track in the world that deserves this title: TALAMASCA-SINAI It's not music, it's the key to heaven's doors...
seraph
There is only one track in the world that deserves this title: TALAMASCA-SINAI It's not music, it's the key to heaven's doors... Now that is an exaggeration, I mean, it is very good track, but by no means celestial or dreamy.
