NEMO.BOFH
I just dug out this: http://www.discogs.com/release/66595 Resistance D - Dreams EP Cosmic Love is FUCKING SWEET! And wow, that Emphasis Track rocks like hell. The whole EP is a master piece. Highly recommended "Dream Trance" (Especially the tracks I mentioned)
NEMO.BOFH
Haha this thread is good, made me dig out some old shieeet that I have not listened to in a very long time NP: Quench - Dreams (Original Mix) which is fucking awsome as well
NEMO.BOFH
Jones and Stephenson - The First Rebirth http://www.discogs.com/artist/Jones+%26+Stephenson?noanv=1 Also check out Renegade Legion and Lunatic Asylum on FNAC :posford: :posford: :posford: :posford: :posford: I remember one time playing The First Rebirth at a party as the LAST track (Cause its fucking fast) and it kicked the shit out of the people so hard that they had to sit down (most of them) after that... poor dj after me hahahaha, he could not follow up with anything... but it got better after a few tracks he played, and I remember dancing all night (and the others too hehe)
Spikesan
Anoebis, here's a track that totally threw me out of my chair. Relentless, driving slightly technoish (monotone, in a good way!) electro/dream-trancey piece called Stromstörung - We Need Medicine I know it's not for me, but: Love it!! StraydoG
Terra Ferma has been the best Ive found. Both albums have some moving trance thats just too good.
GaySatanicHippie
Haha this thread is good, made me dig out some old shieeet that I have not listened to in a very long time NP: Quench - Dreams (Original Mix) which is fucking awsome as well That track is awesome! I just listened to it the other day. And I agree with the poster above, Terra Ferma is awesome. Every platipus up to catalogue number 40 or so is amazing. The best emotional track from Platipus is probably Terra Ferma - Lunar Sunrise.I wonder what happened to Claudio Giussiani, I havent heard of him since. Another good one is Cosmic Baby - Liebe
rino
Jones and Stephenson - The First RebirthOUCH! Rino enters a time machine. Axel Stephenson is (certainly was) a fucking genius!
NEMO.BOFH
OUCH! Rino enters a time machine. Axel Stephenson is (certainly was) a fucking genius!Oh yeah baby!! Eventhough the track must be like 150-160 bpm (I am not sure) its fucking genius
GaySatanicHippie
Talking about 150 bpm, Scooter - Unity without words part 2 is great, too. This was before HP started talking in their songs.
Goa-Head
D'Agostino Planet - Fly http://www.discogs.com/release/217016 It will make you shed a tear for sure
rino
A moment of truth: few exceptions set aside, I don't enjoy the regular dream trance at all. Albums like Influx' debut, some early Platipus and Eye-Q Records releases I find to be very impressive, but most of those CDs just collect dust on my shelf, as the more time goes by, the more childish I find that music. Honestly. Feel free to blaze torch my face, but listening to an album like "Wildlife On One" in 2008 really provokes no feelings... Around a decade ago, any track off that album sent me to orbit around Earth, now I just find it plain annoying. Guess I just don't get the kicks out of trance like I used to. Oopie
I know it's not for me, but: Love it!! you made me listen to that track again, I had forgotten all about it. sounds great!

I find that the more i drink, the more i like my old melodic trance records. I always get very nostalgic when I'm drunk.

I always get very nostalgic when I'm drunk.I like to listen to schranz when I'm drunk A few weekends ago after one too many beers, TRB's 3 hour brutally hard techno set was just what I needed to hear I get nostalgic when I'm home alone and bored to death, without money or alcohol. Daniël
most good stuff allready posted, so i'll just add some goodies: intrance - skytrip (track) state of house - unkown raver (album) state of house - pacific dance (album) formic acid (kai tracid) (artist) cosmic baby the commitment - X Transformation - Transform Drax Ltd. - L.S.G - Hidden Sun Of Venus Blue Alphabet - Quixotism (bonzai) Jones & stephenson - (bonzai) van basten - king of the deathposture (sounds bit like paragliders -paraglide) state of house is certainly in my top 5 all time fav's, way better than anything platipus ever released, sound quality ahead of it's time and perfect mix of genres, but trance is always the main influence. (pacific dream youtube link bad song though, unknown raver is WAY better!!!) Demonic Emotions - Stuck On A Spacetrip = best acidtrance track ever! Lu Bu
Should we start praying for Suntrip's future or is it just a temporary change of your taste, Joske? based on the way that new Ra sample sounds from the myspace i would say start praying
RTP
Anybody remember Paragliders - Oasis? One of my favourite tracks back then.

Daniël
these albums are the best CD's i have with dreamtrance Rave mission - the dream edition rave mission - the dream edition 2 after rave mission 5 it starts to go down, RM 6- ?? sucks. If you want the good stuff of dreamtrance, you'll have to buy EP's.
RTP
Rave mission - the dream editionI've got that one as well! It's quite good. Can recommend it. Meanwhile it should be available for a bread with butter ... the only tricky part is to find it...
