Guest Whiggy
Hi everyone, I'll start off by mentioning I've never posted here before. I've lurked about the site for awhile but that's it. Anyway, I'm putting together a compilation with a Matrix them. So I'm looking for songs with samples from the matrix and I thought I'd ask everyone here for suggestions. So far I have: Absolum - Orange Absolum - Re-generate Astral Projection - Anything Is Possible GMS - Arabian Nights On Mescalin I know there are more so if you can think of one, please add to the list. Thanks! Whiggy (The Newbie)

Guest psylotik
I find the Absolum track with matrix sample of the women saying, "How did you do that?, do what?, you move like they do... blah blah" the most annoying shit in the world. It fucking ruins the entire song. everytime I hear that song, all I can think of is, "Shut da fuck up!"
Guest basi
^^ same here, i hate that track
Guest Whiggy
Thanks everyone for the replies so far. Full Lotus, how could I have forgotten 1200 mics? Naiman, there's no Matrix samples in Drumatrix Remix as far as I can tell. Were you thinking of something else? Psylotik, that Absolum track would be Orange, and yes that sample is repeated to the point of being extremly aggitating. Whiggy
Guest Whiggy
Quark, this isn't getting released by any label. It's for a friend. The hard part will be finding where to buy some of them.
Guest Selim
Your copy of the Absolum album must be mislabeled -- "Drumatrix Remix" is definitely the track with the "How did you do that?" sample repeated ad nauseum. (Get it? Drum + Matrix = Drumatrix?) You can also find the original version of the song with the same samples on the DJ Dede Deck Wizards mix-CD. There's a track called "Desert of the Real" on the Vibraspirit23 comp with the "welcome to the desert of the real" sample on it. I know there are at least two or three other songs with that dumb-ass "take the red pill" sample in it, but I can't think of them now. (I try to avoid songs with that sample whenever possible.) Guest (___/'1'___)
yeah, don't forget stupid Adrenaline Drum ...thats all that remains of California Sunshine. Just a bunch of beats and rythems a-u-m
Guest viikkinki
Here's more: California Sunshine - Dejavu Wizzy Noise - Xpanded (and Adrenaline Drum's new album is said to be loaded with Matrix samples, but I haven't heard it) There must be (a lot) more.. it's hard to remember all of them - which is a sure sign that sampling Matrix is not a good idea if you want your track to be remembered.
