Afgin - Waves of Love The OiG team proudly presents to you the second part of our home-made compilation series Golden Vibes II – Guided by The Wonderboy. This release will surely make a huge success amongst you Goa-heads. This release is in a double CD format and consists of various artists: worldwide-known artists, Israeli artists and non-Israeli artists, veteran artists and artists that are making their first steps in the music production industry. In this release you will find Goa Trance in its widest form: from the darkest to the most melodic. There was no post-production mastering done in the following tracks, and they are brought to you as they left the artists' studios – just like the good old days. We've made it known and clear that here at OiG we would keep on preserving the Goa Trance vibe, in order that the true spirit of this genre would keep delivering us the old energies that we all have experienced in the 90's. Our slogan is "Old Is Gold", and so is the way we act. We make sure that this great music that has followed us since then would prosper by giving the proper exposure to the old-school and new-school Goa Trance artists. The team puts a lot of efforts in brining you these releases and has made a great deal of coordination in releasing this current one. The biggest thanks goes to "The Wonderboy" whom contacted the artists, collected the tracks and made all the possible arrangements in order for this project to form into a finished release. Graphics and design – Lior AKA Mfoofa of the OiG crew. Important notice: This release is completely legal and legitimate. The artists have contributed their works to this compilation knowing that this release would be distributed around the internet. Therefore we encourage you to pass on this release and its download links to anyone whom should appreciate this form of art. Juan is well known to us all from his legendary track Spiritual Healing that was a big hit in 1998. The sound bank of the current track is pretty much the same and you can easily recognize Juan's production here with those sad-feeling-melodies. The track is emotional yet powerful. It was produced in 1998 when Juan was much active. This one is unreleased and you get it here exclusively. 2.Jikooha - Bay Hall Magic Jun Iwai and Masakazu Shimodui formed Jikooha, a Japanese act with influences of Goa Trance that stays authentic with that sound. They've released 2 albums already. The track starts with a magical feel to it and develops into a very danceable track. 3.Filteria - Navigate ( Live Version 2007) Jannis Tzikas, a Swedish guy from Stockholm who has released 2 successful new-school Goa albums in Suntrip Records. This track is a live remix to the original one that was released in his first album in 2004, Sky Input. This remix is longer and more massive than the original, proving Jannis's writing skills. 4.The Wonderboy - Octagon Flashback ( Tribute to Afgin) Gai Edri is the leader of the OiG crew and the co-founder of it. The man who's responsible to this compilation has his first track in this compilation as a tribute to the contemporary Goa Trance artist Afgin. This track has crazy synth-lines with a complex psychedelia with changing melodies that will blend your brain cells. 5.Har-el & Ime – Creation Har-el Prussky – the name undoubtedly speaks for itself - A veteran trance producer with much experience, who's been here when the Psychedelic Goa Trance scene started to develop in Israel and around the world. Eyal Yaniv is a 31 years old DJ with many years of experience a DJ who's played in many events world-wide. These two have teamed up and have been producing for a while now. This track was written somewhere in between 2005-2006 and is being released here exclusively as a contribution to OiG team. It is a remake to the legendary and classic Morning Glory track that was released in 1993 in the Trance Mix 2 compilation under MG-3 which consisted of Edi Mis, Nati Mishali and Har-el himself. The track sounds as if written back than with a now-days sound quality. Let this one take you back in time. 6.SynSUN - Gagarinz Trip Andrey Vakhnenko & Evgeniy Ryabinin are a Ukrainian duo that can surely show their skills in their tracks. Without too many unnecessary introductions, the track delivers us massive Goa sounds explosion with a true sunrise feeling to it. A great track! 7.Paradise Mutants - Holy Weird Past Hod Kadar & Alon Shitrit are two young artists with a fine production background in several projects. These two show us their interpretation of contemporary heavy Goa Trance. 8.The Wonderboy - Magical Kingdom of Hallucinations Gai is here again to tell you a story about a Magical Kingdom of Hallucinations. A hard and complex track with a night feel to it. His music is hard to digest and its purpose is to take you into a trip to your darkest thoughts. 9.The Wonderboy - Wicked Genre Salad Gai gives us here a track with audible influences from Itzik Levi – Sandman. A great digging track. 10.Subra – Olmec Michael Anenburg AKA Mike A is here with his Goa-oriented Subra alias. 22-year old Michael has been producing music for many years and has a long experience in writing Psy-Trance tracks. This track is characterized with a Goa sound but with an up-to-date quality. The track's transpositions resemble some of the early works of MFG and Sandman. CD 2: 1.Jikooha and Eiji - My Revolution And Yours Jikooha have teamed up with a third Japanese artist, Eiji Shibata. Eiji has a 20 years experience with guitars and it is very much noticeable in this track. A great combination of synths and guitars. 2.Ka-Sol – DfG Christer Lundstrom is the man behind Ka-Sol. His music is the best definition of "danceable psychedelic forest Trance". He's got a dark feel in his tracks. This Swedish guy has very unique style with noticeable Goan elements. 3.The Wonderboy - Holy Rave (Tribute To Asher Haviv ) Gai with a second tribute track, this time to Asher Haviv – the famous trance parties organizer who's organized the biggest trance parties Israel has ever known (Huga, Rabin SQ. and the latest Holy Rave festival). A track with Gai's characteristics of sounds, effects and dark digging synth lines. 4.SynSUN - Space Sirens SynSun are here again with a powerful track that sounds as if was taken from a 1996 compilation. This one will blend each and every brain cell that your brain has managed to stay with up to this point. These guys have a rich musical background and it is very much noticeable when hearing their tracks. Great music here! 5.Ka-Sol - Stainless Recreation A great track with Goan melodies wrapped with Ka-Sol's typical sound. A high quality production of a track that manages to appeal to your brains and to your legs as well. 6.Goasia - Never Again Balint Tihamer & Kanc Cover are Goasia from Serbia. A track with a jumpy and danceable tunes and a deep bass line that digs-in pretty well. Great one for the dance floor. 7.Apis – 1995 Lior Schwarts, 23 years old from Israel, is making his first steps in the music production industry. His first track appeared in the 1st Golden Vibes and here we get to hear his second track so far. The track's name speaks for itself. Sounding as if written back in that year, Lior manages to write excellent music with an old feeling to it. You can recognize some influences from the classic Chakra & Edi Mis - The Promised Land. Pay close attention to this one and mind that name. We shall expect a bright future for this young artist. 8.Ediya – OiG Kobi ohanna is a 32 years old artist that had released 2 tracks already in our previous compilation. Kobi honors us with a great old school Goa Trance track with a slow build up and loads of acidic bleeps that takes your higher and higher. This will please all of you old schoolers. 9.Vox - Solar Wind Tomislav Crncic is a 31 years old artist from Croatia. This guy produces new-school Goa Trance and recently had released an album in Metapsychic Records, Filipe Santos's label. 10.Afgin - Waves of Love Elad Afgin, the old school artist, is establishing his musical talent now days and gains a lot of respect among the old school scene followers. Afgin delivers us "Waves of Love" and seals this compilation with a down-tempo chilly track. This track is loaded with emotional and relaxing sounds that embrace us with lots of celestial feelings. What a great way to finish this compilation…

Basilisk
Interesting compilation... a bit padded, but there are some good tunes on here. I'm really into the Jikooha these days. Unfortunately I suspect a WAV version is extremely unlikely, as is usually the case with OiG.
Mike A
There will be no wav (unfortunately).

Goa-Head
I've burned this on an MP3 CD since each "side" exceeds 79:56 minutes. For some reason my discman doesn't find track 1-4 when I insert it. I've burnt it 2 times and each time the say result. Yet when I insert the burnt CDr into PC track is obviously there. So, with all computer wizards here is there anyone which can give me an explanation for this ? Maybe my cheap discman ? As for the release, it' awesome. We need more like this. ThankS OiG! Agneton
An interesting compilation, containing a mix of well known names and upcoming artists. Personally I'm not a fan of the Wonderboy tracks. Though he must be the driving force behind the OIG project, his tracks can't capture my attention. Further on I'm a bit dissapointed in some tracks from bigger names, for example the one from Vox. Luckily there are a bunch of artists that made my day, like Ediya and Apis. Those Israeli boys did a fine job! Happy to see that the Oldschool scene is kept alive! (: Can't wait for the next releases!
