Goa Bill Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I have started with a nice Minimal/Progressive mix i made a few days ago. It transitions now from Fuzzion's Distort And Discord (I think) to Cosm's Swagger (Not sure also, don't have the tracklist close) Quote
Otto Matta Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 For the past few weeks I've been starting with Etnica - Nitrox and Chrome - inspired by reger's Etnica threads a while back. It's crazy how one's perceptions of albums changes over time. Still, though, Small Doses and Detonator have been getting the most play, as before. This is driving to the train, buzzing on coffee and smokes, ~45 minutes after I get up. I don't listen to music first thing. Quote
NEMO.BOFH Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 my morning normally starts with some downbeat or jazz, later on progresses to downtempo eat static. if I am in a rush, I need a fast pace and then it would be full on or something by white/rob zombie. I have found irregular patterns though lately cause im listening a lot to Robosonic's album Sturm und Drang, totally gets me started with their minimal/electro/trance/weirdness I can highly recommend Robosonic for the one that likes a bit diversity "Just came in, to check what condition my condition was in" *you will know what I am talking about when youve listened to the album Quote
Oopie Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 underworld's cups does the trick. actually it's on right now Quote
buzzman Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 GMO - groovy day. Coffee is my favorite And ten madison - travelling Quote
Quark Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 For me it differs. It depends on the mood, but lately it has been some downbeat/electronica like Lauge and Rumpistol. It gets me in the right mood, sometimes it is Sensient or something similar. Or more morningorientated like Frogacult, Flowjob and more from the Iboga crew.. Quote
Darkarbiter Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Usually melodic morning psy. Seriously check out this fucking classic tune: Fucking music-Electro sun So warm and uplifting melodies. Ironicly I usually listen to more relaxing stuff later in the day (and more uplifting stuff in the morning). Quote
Nurbs Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I love listening to HELIOS at mornings, i belive is the most unik way to start a day. Quote
Goa Bill Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 Some soundtracks here at work. The Fountain, amazing soundtrack work by Clint Mansell and the classic Clockwork Orange OST. Beethoven FTW Quote
Ov3rdos3 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I started this morning with Trentemoller Chronicles (1st CD), nice and chilled, yet with enough momentum to get me slowly grooving along. Was very nice listening to it on the way to work. Quote
Ormion Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 If I'm gonna stay inside the house and drink some coffee then I choose melodic psy downtempo. If I'm gonna walk then happy Goa all the way. Quote
Goa Bill Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 Ulrich Schnauss is nice morning musicAm i the only who thinks that his recent album blows? Quote
Basilisk Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 This morning I am quite satisfied with F.S.O.L. - Cascade. Quote
Bahamut Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Am i the only who thinks that his recent album blows? Maybe not. I heard some bits and pieces and as far as I can tell it seemed like the feeling was gone from his music, what's left is a messy bunch of sounds. Quote
Anakoluth Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 usually some indie rock while showering, singing along etc:) then, on the way to school, some minimal techno / techhouse. Quote
Otto Matta Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Am i the only who thinks that his recent album blows? It's definitely been getting so-so reviews. Quote
amphiton Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Depends on the mood and I don't have the "100%" formula. Ambient, downbeat, idm, goa, full on, prog, minimal... anything can happen well, maybe not dark )) Quote
abasio Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Rainy days! Ultimae Sunny days synth heavy trance like par-2 productions or technosommy. Quote
