Enter Kagdila Records, from Tarzana, California, supplying all of Los Angeles, and the rest of the United States with fresh, bountiful supplies of Psychedelic Trance, Psy-Breaks, and Ambient music as well. In fact, within the last year, the company has been successful in reaching out to a good part of the rest of the world also, with a steady clientele both in Canada and Mexico, as well as overseas in Europe.

 

Kagdila Records is the treasured child of Majestical Records co-founder Shu-ki Golan. After a mutual agreement of partners to terminate the successful Majestical Records, Shuki reformed his approach and burst onto the scene with his newfound company as a label, a distributor, and a store.

 

The name "Kagdila" dates back to a classic goa song. When Shuki first heard this Astral Projection song he repeated along with the chanting of "Kagdila" instead of "Mahadeva". The name stuck around inside his head, reminding him of the euphoric feeling of hearing a classic for the first time.

 

Plans for the future include more album releases by today's hottest psy-trance artists, periodic outdoor gatherings featuring international artists, as well as the licensing and releasing of one of the most sought after psy-trance albums of all time.

 

Artist’s Profile:

 

1..Heterogenesis is the combination of two of the most promising artists on the

Bright side of the psytrance scene in Argentina.

Japo aka Pragmatix has already surprised the world with his promo album

Called Inevitablemente.

Mistico released on 2005 as well as releases in Dark Prisma, Geomagnetic and

Headroom, playing in several parties around Argentina delighting dancers with his melodies.

Alejo aka Cosmos Vibrations has released tracks on Dark Prisma and Trasition

Records, taking his inspiration from his travels around South America exploring the

International scene.

Heterogenesis was created to explore the morning experience of psychedelic

trance, combining gentle grooves with insightful melodies taking the listener to a pleasant

Trip to other Dimensions designed to awaken a revolution inside us.

Their album Revolutions Maquinicas, will be released on May, 2007, by Dark

Prisma Records.

This work was done with the intention of unveiling the power of art as a

Spiritual and Revolutionary path, bringing a fresh approach to the morning times.

Combining their ideas and influences they have created a delightful psychedelic trip, filled with heavenly melodies,

alien percussions and groovy baselines, discovering beauty in other worlds

And bringing it Back for all of us to enjoy.

2. Crying Freemen is a new French project with full on influences. It is

Composed of Arnaud Courier and Salvador Casais, both well known under their DJ names: Dj Naya & Salva.

They have been making music in their respective studios for two years now

And in 2006 they join forces through their common project Crying Freemen.

 

3. Ovnimoon Progressive Tribal Trance from Chile!

Hector Stuardo's, known as Ovnimoon, is one of the precursors of Psy- and

Progressive Trance in Chile. Playing for more than 9 years Ovnimoon spinned records on most of the big events in his country, like Love parade, Earth dance and countless gigs nationwide.

As producer Ovnimoon provides a wide range of styles from Chill out to

Psytrance and has released already on labels like Spliff Music, Geomagnetic TV, YSE, Groove

Control and even On Warner Rec.

After his debut-album "Camanchaca", a ritual journey through ambient and trance, Ovnimoon is back with his second masterpiece: Human Spirits again out on Synergetic

Records – his home base and the label that discovered this young artist.

Human Spirit reflects his musical evolution since the first album.

Progressive Morning Trance blends in a delicate way with (Deep) House, Electro, and Psychedelic. This new Ovnimoon album comes with collaborations with artists like Mixed Emotions from Israel, El Zisco (Chile-Germany), Viviana Lemos (Argentina) and Duca from Serbia. 4. Power Control is Kobi Shmual from Israel. Kobi is producing a smooth and

melodic with his own unique style full-on trance and yet still very powerful with a very clean and bright sound. Kobi has few releases in different compilations. Power Control debut album is due towards 2007

 

 

 

5. Twilight is Javier Martinez, Born in Mexico City in 1985. He started

Listening to trance music at age 16 and since then he has been passionate about it. 3 years later he decides he wants to start producing and study audio engineering in Australia.

By late 2006, After 2 years of studying and playing DJ sets almost every weekend in the NNSW area he graduates and starts to take production a bit more seriously. Around

the same time he was discovered by Bubble and he was asked to be part of the Mushy Records

Family. After this he released his first track with the Belgian label "Dacru

Records" in the compilation Orientation Vol. 2, not long after that he was invited to play

Live in Rio de Janeiro at one of the biggest and most important parties of Brazil

(XxxExperience), where he played for more than 15,000 people and shared stage with trance leading acts. These are only the first steps of his career. More gigs and releases have

And will follow up. Today Twilight is back in Mexico, where he will be concentrating on his

debut album and working on the next Mushy Records compilation (VA Wet and Wild, Compiled by

Twilight). So keep an eye open for this fresh and young Mexican talent.

 

6. IMIX aka Dj ANZA is Franz J. Bogendorfer, born 18th February 1960 in Vienna

- Austria. IMIX´ style can be best described as good looking full on psytrance -

Influenced by early psychedelic funk. IMIX (KIN 161 "red dragon”) is the Mayan zodiac of Anza. Influenced by this archaic energy and his huge experience as dj,

Aquarius minded IMIX delivers his psytrance voyage with massive baselines, mind-blowing psychedelic space funk spiced-up with harmonic acidic melodies for night and daytime.

7. ZYBEX From a very young age, Rob had a special taste for music and was especially

Influenced by 80's pop music. He first learned of electronic music in the early nineties with the sounds of Jean Michel Jarred. During his school years he mainly stuck to rock music with the likes of Radio head and Faith no More but still continued to listen to pop. In the mid-nineties he heard The Prodigy and was captivated with its aggressive and faster sound. In 1999 he began to experiment with virtual synthesis, but only as a hobby. In

2003 he met his friends; Hector (Ovnimoon) and Luciano (Psypsiq Jicuri) who had began to compose some time ago. In this way he was able to share ideas and learn so that in the future he could define his own style of psytrance music. In 2005 he decided to take it to the next level and bought more serious gear, including a MIDI controller, with which to compose music more frequently and professionally. He now plays in some of the best and biggest psytrance festivals in Chile with great reception from the crowds. Nowadays, taking root in Santiago, Zybex, with his very own style, is one of the top psytrance producers in Chile.

 

 

 

 

9. DIGITAL TRIBE Shlomi Dahan and Oshri Haziza, from Tveria in the north of Israel are the

10. IBOJIMA

Ibojima was from the beginning a duo from Sweden. The group was the 2

Members: Mathias (DJ Molly Kulator) Anderson and Magnus Holte. They were recognized by the

Psytrance artist Safi Connection and he went to Sweden and recorded the first track with Ibojima called Awakening Of Dawn which was released on Spliff Music’s compilation Propaganda. Ibojimas debut album "Morning Glory" was released in March 2006 @ Millennium / Yellow Sunshine Records. Mathias (DJ Molly Kulator) Anderson has been an established DJ since as far back as 1992, mainly focused on the electronic-music. He has been spinning music all around the globe but wanted to make a move as an artist / producer also. So he hooked up with his long time buddy Magnus which later resulted in the duo Ibojima. After the debut album Magnus decided to quit the work with Ibojima. Now Mathias is work-in on his own and will during 2007 release the second Ibojima album. Mathias also have a side project together with Erik (Shamonk) Nilsson named S.O.S (Sounds Of Science) which you will hear a lot from him in the near future.
