Inform me about Hux Flux

I was cruisin around on the reviews page reading the highlighted albums and I ran across Hux Flux, who I have seen people here talk about before. Well a few comments on the review of the album "Cryptic Crunch" stck out at me.....some said that each song on the album was very different from the next, no repetitivness, truely psychedelic, and crazy off the wall stuff. Then I read a comment that compared them to the general style of Infected Mushroom and me being such a big fan of Infected's stuff, I had to find out more......I can't seen to find a place that has samples of Hux Flux's stuff, Trancetrax and Chaos Exesitance don't have them....can anyone point me in the right direction? And can anyone tell me about Hux Flux, thanx.

The reazon you can´t find any sample of theyr work is becous the Cryptic Crunch album is kinda old and out of the market, but Dennis, the guy behind the project is about the release a new Hux Flux album, in fact it was supposed to be released by last year´s summer so be prepared ´cuz it´s gonna be out any time now.

Any idea if Cryptic Crunch is available online anywhere? I'll go search around but I was just wondering if any of you knew off the top of your head. Do you Hux Flux fans think the new album will be kick ass or what have you heard about it...info!

BE CAREFUL!!

I wouldn't put Hux Flux and Infected Mushroom in the same basket...well at least not his Cryptic Crunch album. Infected Mushroom is melodic and I would describe Hux Flux-Cruptic Crunch more minimal although still psychedelic.

There are many scratchy sounds that can get kind of random but I guess that was the whole point because that's how it get's psychedelic.

Infected Mushroom is much much closer to the general idea of what most people would call classic Psy Trance while Hux Flux-Cruptic Crynch could hardly be described as Trance but still psychedelic....oh well, whatta hell who cares about labeling and clasifying music:)

I just tried to use those terms in order to explain what it sounds like, not to classify.

There is no similarity, whatsoever, between Hux Flux and Infected Mushroom. Also, I had purchased the Kluster album, on someone's recommendation that it was like Cryptic Crunch. I was very disappointed. Mostly I just heard a group trying to put as many random sounds as possible into each track, with not so good result. The sounds did not mix well, and many tracks just sound like a trainwrecky mess. And they relied far too much on loops...very repetitive at times! Production also left quite a bit to be desired.

Huf flux, OTOH....!!!!!!
