Laughing Buddha+Pogo - Shamadness 2. E-Jekt - Hightech lowlife 3. Hujaboy (Zion rmx) - Defractyl 4. Dejavoo - Diabolical 5. Hyper Frequencies - Twisted Latitude 6. Infernal Machine remade by Bliss - Loin King remix 7. Polaris (Zen Mechanics rmx) - Time Travel 8. Sinewave - Gravity Of Light 9. Barak - Twilight Cave 10. Aquatica (Cosmic Tone rmx) - Side Off This is the ninth magazine and sixth promo CD and the CD has a really uplifting edge to it with some really big-name artists. Still with strong psychedelic undertones but with perhaps a more rounded sound. Still with plenty of variation to it to make it a more interesting listen than most CDs and again with some choice DJ-friendly numbers sure to rip any dance floor. Some great tracks at a fraction of other CD's price with 5 night, one crossover and 4 morning sound. The Laughing Buddha sets up a twisted psychedelic storming tag-team with Pogo also from Nano records, E-Jekt jets in from Israel to join the mighty Hujaboy who gets a Zion remix. Deja Voo show why they've been kicking things up in the UK and now around the world, France's Hyper Frequencies funks things up, there's the incredibly creative Bliss who remakes a classic from Infernal Machine aka Simon Posford and Dick Trevor, Polaris with rising Dutch star Zen Mechanics's remix, Australia or the UK's morning alchemist Sinewave, Mexico's Barak adds a bit more psychedelic punch to the end of the CD before Com.Pact's Aquatica rounds things up with a Cosmic Tone uplifting choral polish. Each artist on the CD is also interviewed in the magazine and there’s interviews with top progressive label maestros Banel and Emok from Iboga, also Bizarre Contact, Ajja half of Yab Yum, the legendary Ott, Insane Creation, VJ installation crew Frolic, and a feature on France's Hadra label. Another interview with eminent writer Daniel Pinchbeck this time about the evolution of consciousness and 2012, an important article looking at the need for a change in the capitalist system if irreversible climate change is going to be avoided, and one about CD downloading. Festival features on Rainbow Serpent and Sunrise and Waveform plus various other features plus 40+ reviews… So at a cheap cheap price get one online from... www.revolvemagazine.co.uk www.wirkuta.at www.psyshop.com www.beatspace.com www.saikosounds.com or look out for it at your local shop. nigelphoton
Yep I think Bliss track shows his real potential as does much of the album. In view of the recent turmoil in the financial markets which will effect us all: here's a bit from the review of Zeitgeist. This film goes on to describe the banking scam and how the economy can easily be manipulated and how a depression can be good for the ruling elite. The Federal Reserve was pushed through congress without the vast majority of congressmen present and the IRS has no legal standing, not having been ratified by a sufficient number of states. So paying taxes in the U.S. is not a legal requirement. War is another tool for profit and control. So it comes as no surprise that we’ve been manipulated into going to war so many times. This film takes a look at three of the last major wars, WW1, WW2 and Vietnam, and shows how America’s involvement was carefully engineered.
