Tatsu
on ebay i found e copy of the famous promo version from the pleiadians track alcyone. the one with the stars map scratched on the backside. i had to pay 29.95£ for it, too much in my opinion but i really wanted it so i didn't really care about the price. think i'm a real vinyl addicted. so how crazy are you, how much would you pay for a vinyl (or Cd) you really want? Guest Goagabba
Well, I collect comics, one I've got at home cost $125. So as a collector of all sorts, I'd say, yeah, worth it. I paid £25 for Planet Ben Trippy Future Garden, but half of that was on delivering it from Denmark to UK, but well worth it. For a really rare CD, I'd pay up to £40 for it. Depending on what it is... Guest spacemonkey
i just bought pleiadians IFO 2LP for £23. (i would have paid more i think) it's worth it. you pay as much as you think it's worth, but there is a limit and only you can decide that. and yes it's an addiction but a fairly harmless one as long as you can still pay the rent ;-) i knew this guy once that was addicted to deathmetal, he never had money for anything because he spend it all on music when he finally got out of his parents house all he had was a matrass with a pile of records on it and lots of cd's and harldy any money. then you know you take the comedy a bit too far, my friend. Tatsu
hehe, i'm definitely addicted but i can still pay my rent and all the bills (and there is more stuff in my appartmen than just records! :-)). but i can't manage it to save enough money for holidays or something like that. anyway, there are worse things... Guest Infinite Sun
I try not to pay up for vinyl as much as possible. You can get anything as long as your willing to pay for it.
Guest basi
you got a good deal my friend... someone i know paid nearly US$100 for that item why, most people would ask? well why doesnt anyone pay lots of $$$ for an old x-men comic, huh? supply and demand... and there were less than 250 of those promos made! Guest r2d2
Well that track on IFO album already if I'm not mistaken. Since I have IFO already I saw no point in giving that much money just for the rare etched vinyl of a song I already had.

Guest basi
r2d2; some comic book collectors are happy with a trade paperback with collected issues... some want the rarity. tis that simple
Guest r2d2
Oh I understand that basi.. I was just speaking for myself:) I wasn't about to start another pointless vinyl vs CD discussion.
