StraydoG
After listening to "Scorb - Ipso Fvcto" I was blown away by the DnB & breakbeat tracks, they are just amazing. So my question is, what other PSY & GOA artists produce DnB/breaks? Ive heard the "Eat Static - Science of the Gods", not quite my stuff. Hard to give examples, I like perfer harder stuff compared to the more liquid, relaxed DnB. Breaks I like the Dirty stuff compared to the more housey feel. I can give other examples of stuff I have thats not PSY/GOA related: DnB: http://www.discogs.com/release/511931 http://www.discogs.com/release/1033935 http://www.discogs.com/release/1033935 Breaks: http://www.discogs.com/release/952954 http://www.discogs.com/release/513780 http://www.discogs.com/release/171251

StraydoG
supergroover - Sweet, Im going to look into Mood Deluxe. Far too Loud is another one of the guys I look out for. Names like that, Autobots, CTRL-Z, Screwface, Agent K, Factor E, Deep Impact, Equalisers and other such names. To bad they mainly only get released on vinyl though. Insejn - SH!T I want that album now. South African stuff is mean already but add in breaks, Im going to go mental! Thanks for a good start. Ive got Voilet Vision - First Sign of Communication coming to, dont know if its what Im loking for but it sounded interesting. Found this a week before I heard Scorb and decided to go hunting for these kind of releases. As always you guys are too good. Cheers! StraydoG
Thanks guys, your too good. So heres what Ill order: Mood Deluxe-The Tangent Universe (to hear something more resent) VA - Freekstyle (To get a feel of how the Blue Room stuff sounds) VA - Broken (because SA trance + breaks is going to blow me away!) lol @ Darkarbiters comment. Ill start with the above and keep a watch out for others suggested. Do you guys like your trance with alot of breaks in them aswell? Example: Taiyo (Chakra RMX) on the Prana - Geomantik album. StraydoG
there is plenty online shops where you can have a 3 minute listen.. Problem is crap interenet connection. Listen to 10 seconds, buffer, repeat. =( Beatport is the only place I use to listen since you can D/L the whole sample first rather than stream it. Darkarbiter
Electric Universe-Stardiver has some tracks that have some quite breakbeat rythmns. Infact I'm really dissapointed with this guy... he has nice jazzy goa trance tracks and he ends up making bog standard psy! Thats worse then from bog standard goa to bog standard psy! Pandemonium
I forgot to mention Black & White-Frame By Frame, if you like alot of breaks in virtually every song in a full on album then pick this one up. http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/hom/hom1cd043.html I dont know if you will be able to hear the breaks in 45 second samples, but trust me, they are there
StraydoG
Stardiver only has the odd bits and pieces, would be cool if there was more. Pandemonium - Sweet, Ill have to grab that one then. Overlooked those guys.
