1. Eclipse: A Journey of Permanence and Impermanence

2. HALLUCINOGEN - Twisted

3. HALLUCINOGEN - In Dub

4. DOOF - Lets Turn It On

5. DOOF - It's About Time

trancetrax.com

1. X-DREAM - Irritant

2. INFECTED MUSHROOM - Classical Mushroom

3. Vibraspirit23

As you can see things have changed......what do you think of my new choices...I always enjoy your opinions and stuff.

Now I need your guy's help...for right now I only want to shop within the U.S. or at places online that deal in U.S. Currency. There are some albums I can't seem to locate and was wondering if you guys could help me out...

COSMOSIS - Contact

COSMOSIS - Synergy

CELTIC CROSS - Hicksville

Which Cosmosis album is better? I've read a lot of mixed opinions and reveiws...

Thanx for your help....oh and a really stupid tangent question....I haven't caught on to what "IMO" means.....I feel dumb for asking...

about your choices I can say: the vibraspirit23 comp rules, maby the best cd of 2002. Me ,I slightly prefer the synergy album over contact, but both are good. You can by them at recordstore.co.uk or from the label (transient).

IMO = in my opinion

I vote for Synergy - it's the best psy-trance album of all times IMO. But Contact kicks some major ass too, so my advice is to buy both (instead of latest X-Dream - they lost it...)

If you want another very good chill-out album (besides "In Dub" and "Eclipse"), add the album "Rushes" by The Fireman to your Amazon.com shoppinglist. Youth himself is involved in that project!

Seems to be a little bit expensive on Amazon.com, though...

Oh, and if you want the best ambient ALBUM ever (if Eclipse would be the best ambient comp.), follow the link below:

Yes, right here!

You absolutely NEED Mirage, you just don't realize it yourself yet...

Hey Ben....or anyone who has X-Dreams albums.....I'm really not a big fan of minimal stuff so I definetly won't go for "Irritant"....someone suggested I get "Radio" is that farther away from the minimal style? It sounds like both Cosmosis albums will satisfy me if I have a enough money in the budget I'll get both....Thanx for your responses.

And thanx now I finally know what the fuck IMO means!

Talking about radio. Well yes, it's not very minimal, but still with a techno-trance touch. You should buy it! Just the "Electromagnetic" track makes it worth.

I just spent a total $162.11 on those CD's here is excatly what I bought:

Compilations:

1. Eclipse: A Journey...

2. Celtic Cross: Hicksville

3. Vibraspirit23

Albums:

1. X-DREAM - Radio

2. INFECTED MUSHROOM - Classical Mushroom

3. HALLUCINOGEN - Twisted

4. HALLUCINOGEN - In Dub

5. DOOF - Lets Turn It On

6. DOOF - Its About Time

I feel satisfied....though I'm scared....this x-mas I got Psytrance 10 Cd's and I was disapointed with too many of them (however I was very new to the psy scene then....now at least I have a better understanding of my likes and dislikes)....I shall see how I like these albums in 3 -7 days (whenever they arrive)

Thanx for the advice guys....once again you all convince me spend more money...

Radio is a good buy.

The other X-Dream album that is a must buy is "We created our own Happpiness". I see what you mean with being disapointed when you bought a bunch of cdss last time. I have been disapointed so many times...

One thing to keep in mind is that most of the famous acts like X-Dream, Etnica, Sun Project, Cosmosis, Infected Mushroom and there are many more all have one thing in common: the more album they release the more minimal they are getting. So if you like full-on madness i advice you to look for releases from the years 1998-99.

I think you bought some really nice CD's.

people are going to hate me for saying this but since you bought 19 cd's in the past month don't you think its time to start downloading music first and finding out if you like it? It's not like owning the original (in terms of sound quality) but you can at least get a good enough idea if you think its worth spending your hard earned money on.

Personally I am in college (on a tight budget) and the only CD I found worth buying the past month (new releases) was the new mainly American compilation "Oxygen" I like supporting artists and labels from my country but I can't afford to go out and buy every CD that comes out and looks good. That one is an exception, its just a great great CD.
