Mantaray - Numinous Island

I'm looking for more stuff that has been made since... 95?

 

That is somewhat like Mantaray - Numinous Island.

I dunno what it is, but this music has a vibe...

that no other i've ever heard has or even comes close...

 

It's ... just totally unique and very good.

It's intelligent but simple, spiritual and silly,

atmospheric and ambient but also has beats...

 

It's like the ultimate ambient, it's moods are ... subtle

but far out. But not so strong that you fall into a ocean with currents all around you.

 

It can be played and you can totallly concentrate on other things and still enjoy the music.

 

... I dunno it's light hearted but exotic and mysterious...

 

Anyway!

 

I'm looking for anything kinda like this, that maybe some of you know of

Not many people know about Mantaray, but god what an act.

Whatever happened to the project and the producer(s)?

 

This is better than The Infinty Project in certian ways if you just looking for somthing with less drama...

i have heard it many years ago.. cant say i remember much of it, just that it was really great and i couldnt find it anywhere to buy it.

did you find a hard copy? if yes, where?

 

as for recommendations.. as i said i dont remember much about numinous island but you're bound to find some more stuff you like if you look into psy-harmonics record (that is if you havent already..)

a brilliant (beatless) ambient album is ollie olsen's emptiness on this label. but it might be different. perhaps mantaray was more trancey.

Mantaray is Ray Castle, so ofc it's good
