Guest antic
No, I don't want your discogs links or shelve-pics Instead, I figured it might be interesting (for me at least) to see what your preferences are in terms of release date, format (CD/vinyl), type (compilations/albums/singles), labels & artists etc. Based on discogs "Export collection to Excel", I've conducted a small analysis of my stuff and here is what I ended up with: Note: These are all CDs. "Maxi" referrs to CD-signles Can you tell I'm an old-school type of person and am not so fond of compilations? And also, the graph confirms what I've been saying for a couple of weeks - 2007 was really a good year (IMO of course).
Otto Matta
Damn, that's cool. I wish I had the will to catalog all my CDs.

It is not so much work (well, unless you have thousands of releases) and I think it is worth the effort

But I wish I could see some graphs of my collection. I was trying to answer the top 3 favorite label thread and I just don't know. The first is Warp, clearly, but the rest are spread across so many different labels. Maybe Morr is second. I'd probably be shocked to see the results. damon
You should provide step-by-step manual if you want other people (less computer-savvy) to post those nice graphs

You should provide step-by-step manual if you want other people (less computer-savvy) to post those nice graphs THat would indeed be nice.
