We have received tremendous response and support since the last installment and we hope that this experience would be more memorable than last year's. We are now inviting you to put up stalls at this years edition. Any labels, artists (tattoos, paintings etc.)workshops ; face painters, flea markets, clothing accessories etc. or anybody interested to put up a stall with interesting material are welcome, for a very economical price. Apart from this, would like to also inform you about the availability of cottages within the close vicinity of the venue itself!! Following are the rates : For the duration of the entire festival ie. 3 days and 2 nights : 2 bedroom cottage @ INR 7500/- only 1 bedroom cottage @ INR 3500/- only The cottage availability is limited so hurry up!! The line up for chill out will be announced shortly. We will also have Nepalese cultural troupe performing Nepalese cultural dance and music using various ethnical Nepalese instruments @ The Chill out area, we will be screening movies and documentaries during night time. We will also have rejuvenating massages. People interested in running workshops on environmental awareness, spirituality (yoga/meditation)... Astral travel, Buddhism, Indian classical music, chakra massage, drugs awareness, healing, etc please get in touch with us. Also we encourage you to share a bit of your art at this years festival, be it a backdrop or a painting, and bring it along to share with the entire Shanti Jatra family. It can be purchased online at www.shantijatra.com 2700 INR 4320 NPR 40 EUR Venue : Nagarkot. Situated 32 kms / 1.5 hours drive east of Kathmandu and rising to an elevation of 2099 meters above sea level. At Nagarkot as the morning light starts to peer over the horizon, it baths the spectacular Mount Everest in golden splendor. Then once the sun has risen a little higher and the sky is free of clouds, one can see Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Gauri Shankar Mountain Ranges. Festival Bus : Buses to the festival will run from 9am onwards on 13th October from Tantra Bar @ Thamel, kathmandu.
