Guest MicK dundee
from a very reliable source : I hear X-Dream have split. IRRITANT will be their last release, scheduled for 2/Feb. Jan And Marcus arent talking to each other at all, they are now working on other musical explorations- seperately. Both make great music and I wish em both the best - thanx for the toons! Guest MicK dundee
their last release (Irritant CD) is a killer... the Beatles weren't talking to each other over the duration of their last couple of albums - sumtimes tension causes even more creativity! mars
Marcus played as a PA in france too in december. So Marcus is the one who supports the group alone. Jan has not showed up since a long time...i think he's not really involved in COP anymore...maybe in Organic Noise...hmm too bad. Anyway Marcus has lots of projects still running and he's a great musician. not only into psy music. hmm by the way i'm still looking for those MidiMiliz t-shirts....where are they sold ? mars. Guest bugbread
I'm not so much into X-Dream, so I don't know which is which, but when they played in Japan during the summer a friend of mine reported that they always looked like they were in an argument. One guy appeared to be the main guy, and was doing all the rhythm and beat sections, and another guy was doing the synth stabs/sound effects. Apparently the guy doing rhythm liked the sound to be minimal, and the other guy wanted more of a role, because whenever he started to put in lots of sound effects the main guy would glare at him or say something to him. He would shout at the guy if he missed cues, too (Not like you could hear it over the music, but you could see that he was shouting). Guest peter
try to get a tshirt at novatekk. they produced them. i don´t know if they have some left(i have two of them:)) all you are talking about xdreamsplit is complete bullshit. don´t do too much interpretation if you see them live and one guy is shouting at the other. if you´re on stage yourself you will understand that this is a stress situation. i know from them personally that they´re not (!) planning to split.
