Guest Tripster
I just read the topic about cheese and I figured out that nobody named a cd that 90% of the people listening to psy really consider as being a classic. I'm almost afraid to say it but I think Classical Mushroom is awfully cheesy. Hum...cool, I did it ) Just to be sure I'm not the only one and if you have a "reasonable" (this means no flame please opinion about this please feel free... Thanks! Guest Alexander DeLarge
Totally agree. The guiro opening is total cheese, and as for the piano parts......
Guest Daniel
*Slowly Breath In and Out....Control Emotions....* Okay....here it goes.....IMO "Classial Mushroom" is one of the most entertaining and greatly sounding Psy-Albums ever. Each song is completely different and the songs seem to surprise you around each bend. The songs are very epic and almost seem to tell a stroy as the music progresses. Compared to so many other artists out their, Infecetd Manages to show a lot of diverstity in their songs so things don't out repetitive. Now onto the cheesy part....yes in SOME was the songs can be cheesy sounding BUT not in a bad way....ok yes the piano parts in "Bust A Move" are cheesy and so are the guitar parts in "None of This Is Real" (but if you like guitars it's very cool sounding....) but thats about it with the cheesy sounds in the album....I'm listening to it right now BTW. You call this album cheesy....well again IMO the melodies and climaxes in each of the songs are totally kick ass and memorable....I could go on and on why Classical Mushroom is such a great album but I won't....I think you got my point.... Classical Mushroom = Good Quality Psy-Trance Album with 5% Pure Cheese, and 95% kick ass music...

Guest Quazzi
Can you guys tell what's so wrong about cheesyness?????!!!!!!! Because you make it sound like a bad thing!!!!!!
Guest Tripster
I know what you mean but people don't always have the same definition for "cheese". If yours is close to "music with emotion" ( i mean when it touches your heart) I agree with you that this kind of cheese is great. But what I call cheese and use to qualify Classical Mushroom (i know u guys don't understand , Zorba "The Rush" for exemple is closer to "lame, childish, with bad sounds, irritating, etc". However, I must say it's possible that I really missed something with this CD (classical mush.) and if anyone experienced the same feelings as me when listening it at the beginning or if someone can give me some piece of advice on how to listen to it it'll be very welcome. Guest Daniel
You either like Classical Mushroom or you don't....it's like you either "understand it" or you don't. I love infected's style, expecially that of which The Gathering and Classical Mushroom embodies, other disagree and don't like that style and are more prone to liking BP Empire. As for advice to listening to Classical Mushroom.....try some hallucinogens and turn that music up LOUD!!!!
