Guest unikos
well the armchairs ARE great! now where to stay is a matter of budget.. i stayed recently in a hotel for 60 euros/day (two beds) and it was fucking worth it.. it had a fridge, very small kitchen and two fantastic armchairs (not as good as the airports though) and to top all this, we had the most amazing view being next to the amstel canal... the hotels name was residence le coin, but if thats your budget, you can find hotels for the same money all over a'dam simply by letting the nice people at the airports hotel bookings do it for you and show you on a map where each hotel is located... they DO ask for a fee but its not much as far as i remember.. if you are on a lower budget, check for hostels or low budget hotels.. do this by walking outside centaal station where lots of people will offer you hotels/hostels and try to persuade you to stay there.. otherwise try finding some website . . hope this helped ; )
Guest Jaimz
Hey Andy, I recommend staying at the Flying Pig Palace while in Amsterdam. There are two Flying Pigs - the Downtown [near Centraal Station], and the Palace [near the Vondelpark], and the Palace one is real nice, well priced, and in a nice neighbourhood - as well as being fairly close to the Kashmir Lounge, my favourite haunt in the Dam. :-)
Guest Mr.Funk
Make sure he stays (and reserves hostels in time) for queens day, 30th of April! Amsterdam becomes one big orgy of orange that day and there are many (street) parties, including psytrance parties. Keep an eye on http://www.goatrance.net/ for the party agenda in Amsterdam
Guest Matt BooM!
The VVV office is straight opposite central station when you get there. Apart from Tourist Info they are a bookings agent and will book a hotel for you in any price range area, and their computer knows all the vancancies, its a great service !! Maybe you can even book online at www.vvv.nl ... booms from Oz, Matt xx
