Guest Psy shaman
Just wondering what you djs prefer using> I prefer vinyl Because I think it sounds better and I like the feeling of being able to manipulate the record hands on. Also I enjoy scratching to trip hop and jungle which is kind of hard to do with cds..

Tatsu
i like and use both, but i think mixing with vinyls is a little bit easier for me. maybe because i use them for longer...
Guest Dr. Krelm
I like and dislike aspects of both..... CDJs make for easier cueing and re-cueing, timing (you have the track time in front of your face) and working with pitch adjustments. Vinyl is a bit more tactile, easier to get a feel for, and a lot of times mixes don't have to be so constantly maintained. Vinyl can sound better initially, but degrades after some plays. CDs have good sound for all times. Vinyl is heavy as a mofo. CDs are light. Call me indecisive, but hell, just give me a pair of 1200s and a pair of CDJs and I will be a happy camper.
