Guest psycle
Sometimes it amazes me how much psytrance is out there and all we get to hear are the onez that everyone else listens to. A lot of trax I like are from artists that Iv never heard of before - and thats where it stops. It seems like they put all their energy into one kick ass track and vanish into thin air. Even after doing extensive research into trying to look for info on such artists, nothing seems to lead to what Im looking for. Therez this one CD that I got from a friend called "Eternal Bliss - Pyramid Trance" which alwayz puts a smile on my face. The first time I heard it I didn't really like it but now its grown to be one of the most valuable in my collection (to ME). It's got its own feel to it - close to oldskool goa but not quiet. Until recently, I didn't figure out if its a compilation or an album; though I thought its the latter cuz there aren't any artist names on there. Plus therez a track on it called "Get Wired (album remix)" so I guessed its an album. BUt its great cuz every track has its own feel to it so I didn't want to put them in the "album" category just yet. Anyhow, you ever heard of this CD?? WHO are these guyz?? Actually, I did manage to find out who these guyz are after a loooot of looking around. Apparently they have a new CD commin' out sometime soon so Im looking forward to that. http://www.eternalblissmusic.com/ (check 'em out. You just might like them). Some more artists Iv never heard of before but really like (only able to find one or two trax on unheard-of compilations): Curly Whirly Spirits Velocity Saws Ovoid Nada Karma Shin etc etc Is it just me or are there some really great psy artists that never get to make it big? Or never get past one track? Any great One-Hit-Wonders you've come across that you think stand out from the rest? Got any artists that you would want to recomend?
