As the bass player, Nick played on 2 Radio 1 sessions, a live TV show (Channel 4), made an album & 4 singles. He joined other bands but got disillusioned with the music business and opted out of that scene. Went back to it for a while playing in an Ozzie Osbourne tribute band Wizards of Oz. He started DJ'ing 6 years ago after being introduced to dance music by Fungi-Psy'd. He went from Housey Trance, through Euphoric to Progressive Trance finally finding Psy trance nearly 4 years ago. Influenced technically mostly by John 00 Fleming (himself having his roots in Goa/Psytrance). He is involved in the promoting side of things too with 'Toadstool'. He is currently producing Psytrance spending many hours in his purpose built studio. His style ranges from a progressive 135bpm to a full on 147bpm. His passion and love of the music shows in his dedication to the art of mixing. He can't resist well written, well produced tunes and revels in long well blended mixes. More Info: http://toadstool.org.uk Lloyd The Positivist – Chaos Theory Lloyd the Positivist is a resident psy trance DJ at both Chaos Theory and Messmedia. Lloyd’s journey through the world of psy trance began in the mid 90s where he discovered the Goa Trance scene and never looked back. It was in January 2007 that Lloyd played his first ‘proper’ gig and this was at Messmedia, where he was then made a resident. From there Lloyd has played lots of gigs at various different parties throughout the UK and has had the pleasure of playing Messmedia France Trance and the Shamania Festival. After his experiences with Messmedia, Lloyd felt it was time to start his own night (with some good friends) closer to home and Chaos Theory was born. Chaos Theory is currently running bi-monthly in Swansea and has been host to some amazing DJs / Producers such as the legendary Ed Tangent, Zuloop and Cosmonaughty. Lloyd will no doubt be playing at a party near you in the very near future.
