Guest Tripster
It may not interest anyone but I wanted to share this with you... Last Friday I bought a home cinema. Actually I really didn't expect to buy this kind of stuff, but I was looking for a new audio material to finally fully appreciate my psytrance cd's. I found that the best was to buy a "bass box" (don't know how to say it") with smaller "satellites" (hope you understand).... Anyway, even in my dreams I couldn't imagine that it would that much modify my perception of music (in general actually). Now I understand what some of you frequently call "crystal sound" )) Anyone experienced this ?? I'm so damn happy !!!! np: Radiohead-OK Computer

Quark
I heard the track Science Friction with sorround sound. The first many times I heard the track it was just faboulus, but with SS, you hear the track in soooo many new dimensions. There is the spiral, can not remember when, but it sounds like it is jus in front of you. It is really an experience which kick ass. Guest --==1400MiLeS==--
Audio CDs are recorded in plain stereo not surround...Pretty inexcusable imo that many movies on DVD are in surround sound but music isn't yet.
Guest Tripster
First of all, thanks for your feedback! I don't write so often on the forum so that's nice to communicate a little bit with you psy-guys ) Quark: who made the Science Friction track please? 1400-Miles: thanks for the piece of advice but I always hesitated to buy the Celtic Cross because of the track Darshanon that I don't really dig. Is the album different from this particular track? Peace to all of you and long life to Psychedelic Trance. I feel that 2003's gonna be a great year (I feel the comeback of the Spirit) Lots of smiles !
Quark
Synchro made the Science Friction track.. Maybe you should try out the Kitchen Sync track by Synchro also. It is also a excellent track.
Strumpling
Celtic Cross and the Shpongles are AWESOME with Surround-sound oh yeah you should also check out Entheogenic - Entheogenic, and the Shulman album does some nice stereo-play as well. Guest ::Anton.
Tripster, I agree with you. Darshannon isn't really good at all. But the rest of the CD is! Darshannon is like an outsider on that CD, the rest fits more togeather. A great 'trip' --==1400MiLeS==--, my surround reciver can 'fake' surrond on stereo CDs.. (I think)
Guest Psyshaman
One thing I find fun to do is is move around the room until you find your sweet spot.. Depending on where you have your speakers configured I found that the sound changes alot when you move around your room. I found there is a spot where the bass seems to be most intense and seems to resonate through your body and brain and it feels ssoo good does anyone know what I mean.. Guest green mouse
hehe..same happens at parties for me...I move around until i find the sweet spot...and I always wonder why it isn't super crowded...like everyone on top of each other...and also...i always wonder...can't they make the sound so good everywhere, why just in this few square meters.... as for in house entertainment - you guys should appreciate your luck for being able to afford all these sweet technical goodies that make it possible to give your ears sound orgasms.....maybe some day I will be able to do this also.
