Well Paint Me Pink and Call Me Sally!

I got this record a few years ago, and I just discovered something interesting about it: it's not the artist I thought it was!

Here's the deal: I thought it was Underworld. Why? Well, because it says "Underworld" right on the front!

But I was listening to it today, and I looked closely at the label on the record itself, and I noticed it said "All tracks written and produced by Tony Thorpe". And I thought, "Hey, I thought Underworld was two guys..." So I looked up Underworld's discography on Discogs, and lo and behold, this record wasn't there!

On the back of the record sleeve it says: "Voyager: Transmission". So I looked up Voyager, and found the record after the first couple "Voyager" artist names on Discogs. It's a completely different artist, named Voyager! I always figured it was some obscure early Underworld release, partly because it has two mixes of a song called "Underworld Theme". Plus, it kind of sounds like Underworld, especially the song called "In Unity". I guess I should have been more skeptical of Underworld writing an acid house song (Suck Acid), but as I said, I just figured it was some obscure early release.

It's weird, because apparently the release is titled "Transmission", even though the cover of the album has "Underworld" as the only text. This was released in 1993, before Dubnobasswithmyheadman.

My whole world had been turned upside down! Well, sort of anyway.
