Guest Kristian
I have solved my problem in disliking the sound of todays trance music (in comparision of oldschool). The answer is - drugs - ! BLAM! Now techtrance, monotontrance and the rest is enjoyable and INCREDIBLE to dance to!
Guest dovla
that's not really a solution...

Guest aricz
Good Kristian, now just remember how you enjoyed the music on drugs when you're sober listening to it.... that's the trick:)
Guest tarre
if you dont like the music without drugs and cant dance to it without eating drugs.. you should save your brains for something else.. stay sober and wait until something you like is played.. Guest tarre
...or follow aricz advice so you dont have to eat drugs each and every time
Guest BobNorma
Maybe if people respected old music, it would still be playable at places, like me I can dance to old stuff, and I just don't get the new stuff, so I take it as a rejection from people, that they don't want me around that's why I am not around them. I really don't see why they don't make music like that anymore, I have PULSE CD now that's my thang... Drugs only ruin that kind of music I am happy I have it, or I would be SOOOO SAAADDD. But nobody cares they just want to make whatever sells good, and people don't care what artists make as long as they have drugs, it's a vicious circle. I really feel like saying sometimes, Hey all I care about is some sad tune over some tasty beats, that's all !!! I don't care about all that High-Tech extreme weirdness, leave it for the Clubbers who like to shake dat ass. And man, the BASS has GOT TO GO ? What's the point...nobody cares? Guest Mike D
Why not jyust leave it at each to his/her own?? If you can only enjoy music whilst blowing your brain n body on chemicals go right ahead, just remember when thigns start to get messy, your the only one to blame :-)
Guest rx7style
I think the solution is to open your mind and further your appreciation for all music. Drugs are only a catalyst, but your understanding of more genres of music should come from within, not from a chemical.
Guest oh yeah
That's so true, for me it simply took time to like other more minimal, darker, etc trance, So I say just give it some time, stick to the stuff you like for now, and than BOOM! you won't even notice,...you'll be like, hey didn't i used to Not Get It! Guest Mrrshan
80 to 90 percent of the music I listen to is oldschool goa. I'm not trying to convert myself to digging such music that I don't currently like. Minimal psy is nothing special to dance to, actually techno is better for that purpose IMO. I go to many kinds of parties - techno, house, drum & bass, psy parties in general etc. Sometimes I like the music but mostly it's not as good as the music I listen to at home. Guest Kristian
Here in Sweden there are almost never any parties and when it is, it almost always the minimal/psytech/monoton. So drugs is the only sollution here..
Guest green mouse
most of the music we talk about is made in or resulting from altered states of consciousness and is thus best understood and perceived again in an altered state of consciousness....now, altered states can be achieved in variety of ways, one being different plants and chemicals, others being dancing, or any repetitive physical activity (long distance running is a major ASC agent), meditation, listening to music in its own right, fasting, sleep deprivation, etc. etc....so...to each his own, truly.... yes, you can dish drugs if you want to...but listening to "..." (insert anything you really like, be it shpongle, koxbox, etc) on a clear head in the morning after you woke up and late at night when you have taken some psychoactive substance are two totally different experiences...... Guest gip
who needs the drugs...? the music is bound to my soul and existance regardless of the chemical expansion...
