Fortesque
Hi, I’m fairly new to psytrance and thanks to this forum I’ve developed a great love for the like of Pleiadians, Cosmosis, Hallucinogen, Dimension 5, Transwave etc. I really love these classics and love the Goa sound. However I’m also quite interested in getting some recommendations for some post-Goa, more recent stuff – minimal and dark stuff (as I quite like these to characteristics in other genres of music that I like). So really 2 questions… 1. What are the all time classic dark psy albums that I should get started with? 2. What are the all time classic minimal psy albums? This forum’s been the best resource for me when looking for info on Goa/Psy so I’m sure I’ll get some great advice from you guys! Cheers, F
abasio
My favourite minimal albums are Son Kite - Perspectives Of... Atmos - Headcleaner Planet Ben - Silver all very subtle & can take some work to get into but definitely worth the effort. as for dark psy I don't really know if it's considered darkpsy but I like Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Twin Sharkfins Cydonia - In Fear of a Red Planet which sound like dark goa to me edit: that wasn't very recent. I like Minilogue - Animals for crunchy minimal as for recent dark psy I'm not sure Derango - Tumult got a lot of attention.

Rotwang
If you're after darkpsy, I don't think it gets much better than this, this, this and this.
