Guest strider
Hey there goa fans... I've been searching for a long time for Progressive Goa trax, like you can find on an old album called "Voice of Buddha" and like Artha uploaded to the last contest (Mahabharta), if anyone here knows of any artist who creates this kind of music please reply or contact me... ICQ #: 124075450 Ben Peace out!
Guest psy druid
imo by calling music 'goa' it can't be progressive by which i think you mean minimal,as the goa sound can be defined as highly melodic and 303 based. please correct me if i'm wrong... Guest strider
I think you are wrong friend, Astral Projection's style for example is regular goa, not progressive. progressive goa is even based on heavier 303 but the melodies shift in few places of the track and kinda take you to a journey... Regular goa usually ends the same way it started (hmm... astral projection). my advice is that you download trax from Voice of Buddha, you'll understand what i mean thanx for replying

Guest rx7style
Some names that fit the sound you're looking for: Bypass Unit Amenia Solar Plexus Colorbox Ziax Whonic Ex-Sample Futurax DJ Roy D-Ex It Criozonic Steam Mach Makara Prana etc... They all have that goa sound in the harmonies. I love that sound personally, but it's hardly produced at all anymore. If you like Voice of Buddah, buy the compilation called "The Hypnotic Goa Zone". Same artists, same sound. Hope this helps.
