Plasma Force
I Like The Psy Lead He Used On The Electribe, It Could Be A Bit Better Composed. I Know That Its Tough To Compose Live With Hardware, But It May Be A Great Track If It Were Created Again A Different Way. Anyway, I Just Thought i'd Share this As I Have Been Listening To It For A Bit. Cheers Also To These May Be Of Help: These Are Neat Too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX8auq5nyVg...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x5a-sZptjY...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGN0yBb0nkQ
mentris
Seems to be very intuitive how he makes his music. Beter than laptop + mouse. I like the track :-)
Plasma Force
This Is Only His First Video On Youtube, So Its A Great Start. I Would Like To Know More About How ToUse Hardware, I Haven't The Cash yet, But I Am Very Curious About It. Its Much More Flexible And Hands On Rather Than Screwing Around With A Mouse And Keyboard. Don't Get me Wrong About The Keyboard And Mouse its Good For A bit But then I Feel Like Doing Something that Would Require A Hardware Type of Controller or Device. Automation is A Big part Of Psy, So Its A Must To Have A Hardware Tool Of Some Sort. I Would Like To Get A Few Things, But They Are Very Expensive. These Are The main One Though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3N1Dh2YWUBw This Too But That Will Be A Lot of Cash Saved: Cash is Vital To Buying The Music Gear That I Have An Interest In Playing With. Veracohr
Hardware's good for performance, but I think I wouldn't want to sequence on something like that. I would just use it as a module, and play it from a software sequencer.
Plasma Force
http://www.yamaha-keyboard-guide.com/yamah...2-portable.html This Is What I Have For Now, not much But It Has MIDI I/O! Gotta Upgrade To Something A Bit More Controller Like. Hard To Choose With All of the New Gear Coming out. Something Thats Easy To Use Would be Nice. I Run The Keyboard Through This: http://www.behringer.com/UB1202FX/index.cfm?lang=ENG It Gets Some Neat FX, But Not Good Enogh To Use For Track Making. I Don't Really Need this Many Tracks Either Seeing As I Don't Have Much Gear To Connect. Plus the Rythem Section Is The Same output As the Keys, So this Makes It Comlicated Even More, Cause If I Use The Rythems With The FX Its The Same effect Used on The Keys. A Bit Frustrating, Time to get A Drummachine I guess, LOL! Any Ideas on How I Can Make This Work Would Be Great. Cheers Thanx

Veracohr
What is it you're trying to do? Same thing as in the video? Something different? What do you need to control live, and what can be playback? Determine the answers to these kinds of questions first, and seeking out the best gear is easier.
Otto Matta
Impressive video. Hardware obsession. Makes me think of the hours spent getting good at that one stilted, mediocre track. Fun to watch, though.
