Which will have the best/biggest names ? Which are set in the best (too me) location, Europe ? Me and some friends would like to go to a really cool party sometime in the summer, we have heard about VooV, but what else could be fun ? Anoebis Posted February 24, 2003 Share Posted February 24, 2003 Well, there are many big festivals in Germany, but full moon seems (line-up wise) the best for me live and dj sets of groups like Astral Projection, Astrix, Yahel, Skazi,... Also VooV is worth your travel (probably the biggest festival this year in Europe?) at the end of Summer you have Samothraki of course! which will be killer again I guess (but rather expensive) if you like melodic trance you should check out Rhakti Dei in Belgium, they are still working on the line-up but groups like FRACTAL GLIDER, THE MUSES RAPT, ZORBA,... Trancendence (Solar Flares), 9 - 14 July 2003, Brasil Zambujeira (Etnica Net), 1 - 3 August 2003, Portugal VOOV Experience 2003, 8 - 10 August 2003, Hamburg Samothraki, 28 August - 3rd September 2003, Greece I also want to know what everyone recommends, as I'd really like to go travelling around europe to as many good festivals as my bank card allows! So far Voov and Samothraki sound real good. I'm also planning on going to (non-psy trance) Glastonbury, which will be 27-29th June, though tickets will be 100pounds. I say non-psy trance buy last year Simon Posford did a Shpongle live set which was my top act there, and I couldn't see his Hallucinogen set as I was working. I don t know about number of people...the best place...maybe it s not as exotic as brasil or mexico...but check this little festival in belgium at the end of march or something like this....only the top of the psy underground, the cream of weird sounds.... jahbo, GOW, digital talk dj set, apoxina rec dj set, and so on ...I let you your big names and big audience...I've chosen my side... I mean that story that happened at the Siva Moon was really really sad, but it was a thing that caused a single person and not the whole scene. Shiva Moon was held by different promoters. so last year there was no cop around 20 km. Guest psyfi Posted February 25, 2003 Share Posted February 25, 2003 i also don't think that there will be any probs in germany. that was an single event which also could have happend on a public toilet in every major city. at voov 2002 there were virtually no cops. well, i saw some cops strolling around on the festival area but they did not do any harm.
