Ormion
They deserve it! I have THE huge respect for that label. And it's obviously why. Their profiles series. Honeslty I don't know if they make any money with all these re-releases of these old albums (for one hand they don't have to pay a new artist, but from the other they still have to pay to get the copyrights, right?) Not that I care. Thanks to them I managed to buy and listen some of the best and very rare albums, that normally I could find only in used conditions under prices I could not afford. Remastered or not I simply don't care! And the Retrodelic Vibes series? Simply awesome! They are filled with great tracks (fillers are only a few), a great way to any new psyhead to discover Goa. Plus their new releases are always quality stuff either it's ambient, prog, full on or darkpsy. Which reminds me how much I like when a label doesn't stick to only one style (Kudos to Kagdila for that too). Let's drop some more nice comments for them and keep hoping for more re-releases! :posford: edit: Indoor-Progressive Trance re-release what more do I need? rino
I bought each and every one of Avatar's re-releases, even if I already owned the original version They strike a nice balance between giving new comers a chance and a good place to start, while keeping it in tact with the roots and the old school side of things. Not everything they've done is pure gold, but it never is when you cover such a vast territory. Damn right! Giving listeners a chance to grab hold of Orion's and Indoor's debut and Total Eclipse's "Violent Relaxation"? Mad respect from me as well. abasio
Much love for Avatar, they re-released Violent Relaxation by Total Eclipse which along with many other re-releases were very much appreciated. There original stuff as well can be pretty good although I'll remember them more for their re-releases!

Well Avatar has a lot of things going besides the re-issues series. For example Goa Gil, this guy is a goldmine! As for PsyHarmonics I guess they survive thanks to their core fans, I know a lot of them.
