Maybe they had the idea from Anne Clark's Sleeper in Metropolis. yep I mentioned that in another post And no, I've looked all over the print on the record, there is not a single reference to Anne Clark in spite the fact that it was a blatant rip-off... but then again, this happens pretty often in electronic music: Snap ripped off Chill Rob G for the sample in The Power, they've never given any credit (or any money) the the artist even though the producers from Snap won worldwide recognition and millions of dollars with it...
