Procyon Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Great news. They are playing a lot. I am really excited about their release. Quote
technosomy Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Are you sure it's Astral Projection? It sounds like Jean-Michel Jarre trying to sound psychedelic, with partial success. careful what you say about J.M.J Quote
Panoptes Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 their last album wasnt good, Amen so thats why, cause i dont think they r able to do something fresh anymore sure not to be alone Amen wasn't bad..... I enjoy some of the tracks plus great production quality Quote

d2kx Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Just got a direct message from Lior. I don't want to go into details, because there is a reason he didn't post this in public, but what I can tell you is that there will be another EP very shortly (~4 weeks) after the "One EP" and... yes, the release we have all been waiting for, later this summer. Penzoline Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 another e.p how apt, more remixes of open society perhaps? which will be the second half of the album I'll admit; I laughed. http://www.facebook....jectionofficial or http://www.facebook.com/TipWorld : "In the studio, Mastering the "ONE" EP... coming your way next month from "TIP Records"." TIP records huh. Quote
reger Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 another e.p how apt, more remixes of open society perhaps? which will be the second half of the album Be careful what you say about AP! Their album might never be released ! Quote
Richpa Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 -1 I'm with ya technosomy on this one! There is just a huge amount of hype around this new album but without proper reason, they keep annoucing some EP's, remixed EP's, new album, and what we got at the end? Seriously? NOTHING (I'm not counting generic fullon stuff that has been published by them, including awful remixes). Quote
technosomy Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 the album has already been released as far as i'm concerned, these ep's are it! but............ come on AP blow us away like you did almost 20 years ago if you dare! Quote
Tiny Unit Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Astral Profail IMHO. Just release it, even if you released it independently and digital only you'd make a small fortune. Waiting waiting waiting waiting. Quote
d2kx Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 One EP... 12th of June Next EP... July The Big One... Summer Quote
Dolmot Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 One EP... 12th of June Next EP... July The Big One... Summer Which year? Quote
Procyon Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 One EP... 12th of June Next EP... July The Big One... Summer What is "The Big One...Summer"? Is it the new album? Quote
Veracohr Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Lol, I just noticed that even THIS TOPIC is nearly 4 years old. Quote
Skytrancer Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Do you prefer bad album every year or great album 10 years later? Some artists (rock, pop) have the same rules and there are no problems! Enjoy new ep in june and be prepared for a big surprise... Please let them do what they want. Quote
rino Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 We obviously are letting them do what they want. That is precisely why this thread is four years old. Captain obvious strikes again with might and fury. The point is not about how many albums, how often and reaching the expectations. The idea should be that you keep up with what you said. Scroll through the last 18 pages (if you have that much free time - I know I don't, and even if I did I wouldn't) and see how many times have we been provided with release dates and what not. If nothing, this thread is the closest thing to the glorious, old off topic section on psynews. Along with the thread which has the holy trinity of this forum with itchy trigger fingers: Elysium, Rezwalker and Mike if I am not mistaken Quote

If nothing, this thread is the closest thing to the glorious, old off topic section on psynews. Along with the thread which has the holy trinity of this forum with itchy trigger fingers: Elysium, Rezwalker and Mike if I am not mistaken I don't agree at all with your opinion. For every date they said they would release and missed it, they came up with an explanation for the delays. I think they were nice enough to keep in touch with Psynews, letting us to hear samples and express our opinions. Better than just vanish in thin air like the Chi-ad, MOS, and so many other artists we miss. And as Sytrancer said, there's no such ironic comments as we here in other scenes when a supposed release just doesn't happen. I am a fan of Van Halen and they have been saying they will release a new album in the last 5 years, but this never happened. And you don't see their fans joking or sarcastic, and mind you, they miss the release and explain nada to their fan base. Quote
Richpa Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Do you prefer bad album every year or great album 10 years later? There is a lot of great and talented artist who released some of the most epic music every year or two. Can you give me guarantee or to anybody else here on Psynews that new AP album will rock? I don't think so. Some artists (rock, pop) have the same rules and there are no problems! This isn't rock/pop forum, but if you're doing some connections with that genre(s), than I suggest you to check new Guns 'n Roses album Enjoy new ep in june and be prepared for a big surprise...PR before actual PR, hmm OK Please let them do what they want. This is open community and no-one here bashes nobody because anything, people just doesn't like when they every now and then receive another dose of delay and new release dates, that's all and I don't see reason why people shouldn't post their dissatisfaction about thoose delays, after all they are ones who are gonna buy/support artist, aren't they? Quote
technosomy Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 i will take back every negative comment and will re buy the astral discog i have sold, if and when its released, as long as its not generic bang bang of course, and my cd player excepts it of course, was expecting it to spit out mushroom army, but has accepted even that quite nicely. won't get my hopes up though if open society is anything to go by. COME ON AP, BLOW US AWAY!! Quote
Skytrancer Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 This time, raja ram and rich bloor from TIP are behind them, so I'm more confident. About the quality of the album, I don't know but I love dominion and dunes of gold which became «old». Quote
