But most of you had no possibilty of recording their mixes of their best tracks reflected on 2 CDs of some prestigious Mixed CD Series (for example Global Underground) So, what would your tracklist be if you had such an opporunity? Kryll Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 making a mix with only your best/favorite tracks ? imo you're thinking too much in tracks then in the wholeness of a mix i once had an opportunity to make a mixed-cd (not like GU fcourse, but a mix suitable for CD-R, with cover artwork) http://chaserecords.free.fr/mixes/chasemix005.htm but in my opinion, a blend of best tracks only is just that, it will prolly never be a best mix Quote

Malevol3nt Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I'm no dj, but If I were to make a great mix, I'd do some polite remixes of the selected tracks, make them blend in on eachother almost seemlessly etc.. I really dig what Oakenfold did with his '94 Goa Mix, I guess I would do something in a simillar technique. Quote
