Guest BoBNormal
Well all I wanted was some names, it takes like 20 seconds to type and post this stuff. I am really not interested in deep discussions about nothing I'd rather listen to the music I never heard before. But if that's SUCH a big deal, nevermind. I can live without it :-) * ... high energy protons are spilling over into the atmosphere * Ah! Who needs it I got the good stuff right here! 1993 ! Mind twisting enoough for me. Guest Indica Couchlock
psychotronic gave you a good list for tech-trance.... kinda subjective but in my opinion, minimal: beat bizarre, lish, magnetrixx, antix, amphasis, shiva chandra, sbk, auricular progressive-morning: vibrasphere, noma, s-range, prex, tegma, reefer decree, faktor d, cosma, ticon, sonkite, haldolium, bitmonx, atmos. all well known names... Guest Setsuko
Wizzy Noise use lots of techno riffs in their rhythems ... many 3DVision stuff is technoish too ... but who cares anyway , just play the stuff you like to hear and enjoy . Guest BoBNormal
Not arguing. But I just wanted to see what is tech trance, etc? And see if I heard it and if I have it, y'know . Cause I do live under a rock after all.

Guest Indica Couchlock
like psychotronic said, "they mix all genres: minimal,full-on,dark,tech" have you listened to the cyclotron album?? mostly on the tech side with that awesome final fullon track
Guest Setsuko
"final conflikt" ... you are soooo wrong , not even close to techno ??? where is the borderline ??? tell me... the sounds they use in their loops and segments are very technoish IMO (extremely actually)... I saw them playing live a few months ago and indeed it's FULL-ON .. but no doubt it's Full-on psy TECHtrance .. MIDIMILIZ / AUTHENTIK etc. are MINIMAL PSY TECHTRANCE ... ;-) .. and to name a few others try : Children Of Paradise !!!! Fuzzion Boo.Reka ..can't come up with some other full-on psy techtrance because i don't like chaotic music ...
Guest v4K
dude, if you want to know what´s the real techtrance sound just listent to The Delta/Spirallianz/Midimiliz (they´r the same guys) and you can also check Authentik/3.Turn (also the same guys) In My oppinion (speaking as a techtrance DJ) those are the techtrance sounds. Wizzy Noise is techtrance too but yes, they convine some other styles. v4K

Guest Freewheelin' Franklin
Seems like nobody is certain what is tech-trance, if it is even a genre. I have always (atleast from 1998+) concidered X-dream/Delta as Trance whereas their older stuff more Goatrance. Also, this forum was created to discuss and learn about the music we love I recon - so telling somebody their questions make them laugh - no matter how stupid you find them - is really idiotic. /FF
Guest BoBNormal
Also, this forum was created to discuss and learn about the music we love I recon - so telling somebody their questions make them laugh - no matter how stupid you find them - is really idiotic. What does it mean? Is it something nice? ...or naughty? (sorry I just don't grasp the basic meaning, I would hate to think that your thoghts slipped away without even the sipmliest trigger in my brain...) Yes, true, discuss or whatever. The thing is that I don't go to parties or anything, but I have been listening to Goa since like 1995 or so. And have been sticking mainly to the realeases around those times for the past several years. So i wa really surprised when i started sticking my head out from "under a rock" and reading all about these genres. First I heard a term progressive goa, then psychedelic techno, tech trance and so on, so i just wanted to find out what's going on Does someone find me stupid because I never heard of tech trance Sorry, ... but I am eager to learn So thanks... Guest Madpup
LSG (Oliver Lieb) is probably the best example of pure tech-trance. There is a newish album called the Hive and a classic Black Album. HIghly recommended.
