Warp Records.

Pick virtually any CD with record label's name stamped on it, and you should feel at home.

a good place to start (with Drukqs in the back of my head) would be LP5

That's actually one of my least favourite of their albums. But then I don't think much of Drukqs at all.

when it comes to my own preference, i share your thought ;)

well.. perhaps not my least favorite, but they peaked with Second Bad Vilbel to me, after that it went straight downhill (imo)

Personally, if you're after IDM rather than ambient, I don't think it gets any better than Chiastic Slide, Chichlisuite, EP7, Gantz Graf and Untilted.

Different people, different tastes... For me Drukqs and LP5 are the best two IDM albums out there...

But I am not a connoiseur of the scene. And Board of Canada slots into the chill-out section in my head.

Funkcarma, Guarner, Legiac (*), Loess, Miles Tillman, Luke Abbott (*), Tycho (a bit like boards of canada)
