You can do it with the glide function. Make a note ar c5 that is three steps long in the 3rd kick, and then another note in e4 in the last 1/8 step so they overlap eachother and activates the glide function(like i have shown you on the picture). Then set the glide function to 1/16 or 1/32, and then set the cutoff in VANGUARD to bandpass, and automate a sweep(like you can see the line goes in the automation bar in the picture) Then to add more off the sweeping effect you can automate a raise the eq (for eksample: between 800-3500 hrz) Work the synth to sound like you want it to afterwards Thats how i do it, and maybe theres a more pro way of doing it, i don't know Quote
frozen dream Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 just turn the lfo speed on your sawtooth wave Quote
Veracohr Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 The one that's kind of buried and has some reverb on it? Sounds like a multi-oscillator saw wave ("supersaw") with some sort effect (perhaps a fast chorus or flanger?), and a simple pitch bend or glide (portamento) between two notes. And, of course, tons of reverb. And I can hear a low-pass filter changing the cutoff ever so slightly. Quote
