Guest jonathan
Ooze- Where the fields never end (Seb Mullart from Son Kite) probably my all time favorite chill out CD (right up there with Shpongle) Mystery of the Yeti Part 2 Aes Dana- Season 5 Celtic Cross- Hicksville (Simon P side project) Elysium- Regenerated Ambient Experience: Kumharas (classic comp) Ishq- Orchid those are all classic CD's (except for the Aes Dana which is from 2003). I usually have problems with people recommending Chill out stuff for me because it really depends on what kind of mood you are in, where you hear it, etc. Anyway you can find reviews for all of these here on this site so read up if you don't want to download stuff. Guest rx7style
Makyo is an essential to any chillout collection. As well as his side project, Padmasana. Healer is great, Shakatura is nice, I personally love HIA but I don't know if that fits what you're looking for... X.I.S. is good, Sounds From The Ground, Timewarp, Spacetime Continuum, Tetsu Inoue, Ochi Brothers, Ozric Tentacles has some great downtempo stuff [they're prolly one of my all-time favorites], Shulman, The Bionaut, Children Of The Bong, Dual Systems, Biosphere, Taruna, Mantaray, Tosca, Amaravision, Pete Namlook, Akasha Project [Cosmic Ambient Garden] is great, Deep Space Network, Electroslide, Majune, Patchwork, Orbient, Solar Quest, Stress Assassin, Underworld, Out of Phase, Grey Area, Deep Dive Corporation, Mystical Sun, Ooze, and Ishq. The Space Night compilations are great, and so are the Global Psychedelic Chillout compilations. Most Waveform and Ultimae compilations are fantastic too. But that's all I can think of right now... Guest Hallucinogenious
LSD Records: Elucidations (good one, its the Mana Medicine 2 ;p) Dr. Alex Paterson's Voyage Into Paradise Dub Trees - Nature never did betry the heart that loved her and you have already East of the river ganges which is a simply wonderful album/experience. Otto Matta
Lots of good variety on Interchill comps. Floatation, Infinessence and Earth Octave Lounge are good. Will lead you to many great artists from Ishq to Steve Roach to Hab to Legion of Green Men, etc. Also check out the similar Dakini label.
