ophitoxaemia Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Hello! It seems like many trance artists (goa+psy) have the last track on their albums as downtempo or ambient. In my experience these tracks are much better than albums by artists that are fully downtempo or ambient as those tend to be so boring. It\'s also nice to have a power down track after a powerful album. To start off I will say: Jaïa - After The Rain Quote

ophitoxaemia Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 Here are some more: Dimension 5 - Flow Solar Plexus - The Landing (Epilogue) Beach Buddha - Glass Voices Cosmosis - Afterglow Blue Planet Corporation - Arcana Hunab Ku - Wavespell Chi-A.D. - Sacred Vision Ra - Light Receiver KURO - Zoa 1996 Transwave - Ulysses Voyage No. 3 Paradise Connection - Source Of Emotion OOOD - Hartley\'s Ambient Jam Sorry they\'re mostly oldschools. These are some of my favorite tracks though. I\'ve tried many ambient and downtempo albums and rarely find tracks that as nice as these! Maybe it has something to do with the rest of the album too mind you. Quote

Assuming you mean Out Of Your Control? Track does little for me but yea it qualifies. Hard pressed to list more good ones. Electric Universe - Nexus Electron Wave - Chromatic Aberration Cyber Planet - Infinite Love (Dedicated To TF) <decent> Quote
Oopie Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 LOL EZ X-Dream - Out of Your Control What a perfect closing track to one of the greatest albums ever released. Amen to that. I sometimes wish they made a full cd in that style... Quote
rino Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Planet B.E.N. - Trippy Future Garden if that counts I concur. And I reckon it counts, as it's a track which clearly brings the album to an end, a closing track. I also like Etnica's Baraka, which is my most played track off that album. I'm also super keen on ultra explosive closing tracks, as is with Miranda's Second Steps To The Stars on her Real Rush album, and perhaps OOOD's Rifa, or to jump in some techno waters, Speedy J's bomb Pannik (remix) off Loudboxer. Those times when the last track gives you that final adrenalin rush, none of that feeble crap... Shpongle's ...And The Day Turned To Night was an awesome way to end an album as well. Quote
Ormion Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 OOOD - Hartley\'s Ambient Jam yes, Yes, YES!!! Quote
Drosophila Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Koxbox - Searching For Psychoactive Herbs could be my favorite.... a perfect end on a perfect album! Quote
