sektor101
Okay, I've been attempting to make some music on my own (obviously ), in this case goa trance, and I pretty much need a second opinion about the things I have to improve in my work. Basically this track is a prototype where I'm trying to find some sort of a style that I can develop, and that's why the 'melodies' are not very original or complex, because that's not what I concentrated on. However, this is the only track that I've finished... ever, so it's the only one I can post at the moment. :wank: Any and all suggestions are very welcome, what I should improve, change or maybe even keep doing in the future and so on... Done completely in Reason 3 apart from several sfx that I got from can't-remember-where... (maybe Absynth 4). Diversum - Descent I believe you can just open this in a new tab and it will start playing or if it doesn't work just right click and Save As... Thanks

sektor101
Sorry about that... I think it should work now. Diversum - Descent If not, this other one on sendspace should work for sure. http://www.sendspace.com/file/kjhjmf
Veracohr
The first section seemed to go into the breakdown out of nowhere, and almost seemed to fade into it. There should be some planned structure surrounding a breakdown. Otherwise, you sound like you're already aware that it needs to be expanded upon, so there's not really anything else to say. It sounds good.
