After great names of ambient music now days, like Asura with his "Afterain EP" and Side Liner with "One Way To Paradise EP", we have great honor to announce our next Ambilight group release under the Soundmute serial of releasing and its well known Ultima project "CARBON BASED LIFEFORMS"!!!

CBL was founded in 1996 by Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Ringström as a side project to their acid/trance/house/techno project Notch. Inspiration at that time was Solar Quest, FSOL, The ORB to name a few. In 98-99 they started speading their music at MP3.COM and were later on discovered by ULTIMAE records where they released their debut album 2003.

Cool, a new CBL release

 

I'm a little disappointed though that it only comes as a download. With the term "EP" I normally connect vinyl releases and now as I saw the thread I was already hoping...

 

Well, anyway. Samples sound promising (especially POU!).
