Alien Stamp – Check Mate A garbled bit of bit-crushed breakbeat oozes its way into the eardrums before filling out to a punchy-funky bassline in this initial offering to Adama from 22 year-old David Israel aka Alien Stamp. The alien invasion continues assaulting all earthlings within earshot with rave-a-delic rayguns firing off round after round of interplanetary funk. Resistance is, indeed, futile! 2. Oikeusjyva - Chimp Son Finnish phenomenon Oikeusjyva is back in the tabloids with the shocking evolutionary revelation of his "Chimp Son". A thumping, chugging bassline bulldozes its way through a thick jungle of jovial chords. A driving animal of a track, "Chimp Son" slashes and hacks, wielding machete-sharp melodic stabs and freaky effects that would take nothing short of the strongest tranquilizers to calm down! 3. Ten G - Odoriko Japanese duo Ten-G enjoy a massive following throughout Japan and beyond and are well-known for their playful-yet-punishing jams and uniquely freaky onstage antics. Ten-G’s initial submission to the catalogue is Odoriko (roughly “Dancing Girl” in English) and delivers a wild array of slap-happy bass guitar and shredding synths that make you feel as if the Mothership has charred out its own special landing zone within your very own dome. Rock and roll, laser lights, Tengu masks, fancy flights… 4. 5-Meo-Geo – Flying Pussy Five-methoxy funk-junkie Boris Mor eyeballs out a heroic dose of doinky dancefloor craziness with his first Adama release “Flying Pussy”. The first effects come on quick with squishy sawtooth stabs and strokes of sonic silliness that tickle the listener pink. A cuckoo-clock chimes, signaling its time to get crazy as we ride out the squaky peak till the last beat. 5. Mullet Mohawk – Foggy Disco Mullet Mohawk is back again, brandishing the electric shaver and poised with a fresh cut sure to give your head a buzz. Shredding saw-teeth flail across your frontal lobe backed by a slap-bass-line that penetrates down to the roots. Ghostly croaks and crickets and swirly spheres of electric organs sure to send shivers down your spine punctuate this panic-attack of a track which shears the scalp then leaves you to sweep up the shavings. 6. Scooter Baba Vs D.D.A – Activa boogie One half of Mullet Mohawk combines forces with Disco Dance Action, delivering a unique, high-powered approach to fluttery morning-oriented suomi, “Activa Boogie” floats forth from the speakers like a stingray made of sunlight. Melodic moans and gated groans soar forth to the upper reaches with a Goa-tinged bassline that effervesces like a freshly popped bottle of bubbly. Drink it in as you take Scooter out for a spin with a Disco-ball helmet firmly secured for the sake of safety! 7. Club Kooma - Hallu-Allu Adama is overjoyed in announcing a long-awaited release from the demented Finnish duo known as Club Kooma. Hall Alle heats up with fluttering, filtered clicks and head-twisting horns before letting loose with a warm avalanche of gelatinous bass. An analysis of the solidified goop reveals remnants of insectoid synthesizers and fossilized funk-chunks containing disco-era DNA. 8. Igor Swamp -Uuttamatookoukkuu Igor Swamp is Toni Sorsa, one third of the Finnish menace known as Salakavala.. "Uuttamatookoukkuu" continues in the bizarre spugedelic vein that has bent dancefloors out of shape from Russia to Japan and beyond. Bonky, wobbly bass encases a clandestine robot factory complete with whistling, whirring conveyor belts carrying components along their merry way. Piecing together glistening, gated processing and plinky-blinky 8-bit bursts "Uuttamatookoukkuu" grinds its mechanical message straight into the center of your tiny, human "brain". 9. EvsY - Who makes Touching down with arguably the most aggressive tune on the compilation comes the Finnish musical monstrosity known as Eraser vs Yojalka (aka Julius Lehmuskallio and Simo Ojala). Gritty, thunky bass-chunks spread thick across the underbelly, with a silky sound quality akin to crunchy peanut butter. Fragments of nutty, jagged stabs and swirls stick to the roof of your mouth and accent the barrage of berry-bush thorns that gnash and gash their way through the deepest thickets of your mind. Anyone for seconds? 10. Digressio traviato - Osc Bro Swishing and wriggling like an autumn eel and dripping with slimy, slithery synthesized insanity, another creative masterpiece from Digressio Traviato is dredged up from the murky depths! A deep, organic kick provides the base on top of which an ever-evolving web of though-provoking, playful pleasure is woven from wobbly oscillators and screaming, glitchy psyDM sensibility. This one is a head-cleaner for sure and an outstanding addition to Adama’s latest release!
