Kai-Q
Scooter is europop music or however many germans call it Kirmestechno (eurohouse music resp. techno like music which will played on funfairs/carnivals). They never count to the technoscene and I never saw them dj'ing in clubs like Cocoon, Omen, Tresor, E-Werk, and so on and on Techno and Trance events, like MayDay, Loveparade, Nature One and so on. They only apear on events like The Dome and many other commercial events and partys. From time to time you see them on the Ballermann 6 in Mallorca too. They are only a pop group, who has never really a touch to the real Technoscene, thats why I think, that Väth, FEOS and Hell don't wanted that they shouted them out. Here you can see in bold type what music they used for their tracks. 1994 Vallée des Larmes - Rene et Gaston - Vallée des Larmes (Original) (1993) 1994 Hyper Hyper – Ultra-Sonic - Annihilating Rhythm (1993) 1995 Move Your Ass! 1995 Friends 1995 Endless Summer 1995 Back in the UK / Back in Ireland - Ron Goodwin - Murder She Said (1961) 1996 Let Me Be Your Valentine 1996 Rebel Yell - Billy Idol - Rebel Yell (1984) 1996 I'm Raving - Marc Cohn - Walking In Memphis (1991) und Shut Up And Dance feat. qa2pir
A question: did they steal these tracks or did they give credits to the original artists? Original artists are listed as co-writers on the Scooter CD's I have ( ).

RTP
Yes, in the radio edit. I think there are still versions (Album) that have his name. I think 3 persons got them removed for the Radio edit, and that was Pascal Feos, Sven Vath and Hell. They were infact outraged over the fact to be in that track. I mean, he gave a shootout to people that have NOTHING to do with his scene, and a scene that they infact do not support. ha, so I have the original ... because I remember Pascal FEOS name is in it... but it's true, these names don't have anything to do with Scooter... Man they are like Dieter Bohlen. I'd say even Dieter is better than them Still, it's Retro for me oh and by the way ... the guy from the films Taxi and Taxi Taxi ... he's got the same eyes like Scooter's lead singer... Drosophila
I have pretty much hated Scooter's output since I remember hearing them I really can't appreciate any of it!
Bahamut
Well they're about 95% total crap, but at least they made this track: Rhapsody in E I still like it. Gotta give this one some credit, coming from 1994.
psytones
oki oki i also used to have one double cd, best of plus bonus cd with remixes. .. wel, it wadn't mine pr say, it was the club's. I burned it and still have the copies in a case when i first heard tgeir music on mega dance .. hyper hyper and Move Your Ass was Ok, because my music world wasn't that enlightened. What always bugged me was the screaming, never got past the scooter voice. I guess the hyper question would be; has anyone heard music by their member outside og Scooter? Axel Broszeit, Hans Peter Geerdes, Hendrik Stedler, Jürgen Frosch, Jens Thele, Michael Simon, Sören Bühler Scooter is Germany like David hasselhoff is stupid
Symphoid
Scooter. What a terrible name. It sounds like a name Dennis the Menace would name his dog. I tried listening to a few tracks and couldn't get past 20 sec each. Loopity loop nonsense.
Goa Bill
Rhapsody in E, Hyper Hyper, Move Your Ass and Friends. Stuff I played to death when I was 13 y/o Good times indeed. Stuff they make nowadays can make me puke diarrhea from my penis.
