Sawfly
I just recently got the latest Funckarma album and there are couple of dubstep tracks on it + I noticed on discogs that they have released two 12''s full of dubstep. It's not the typical sound but I do like it alot as a big fan of Funckarmas music in general

Snapinho
Nois (: Didn't dig that Bombaman mix... the Liquid Stranger mix has some really fucking funky basses in it though. And the Excision mix also did its job. I was never too into Dubstep, until I heard it at a party on a good soundsystem (I think last Burning Man). And now I'm sitting at "home" with the basses all the way up, nodding my head like a fool... good stuff. :drama:

Sawfly
Well it's more of the "real" dubstep side of things than Burial and sure some of the sounds used by some producers can be a bit weird as for me, I love 'em weird

murphythecat
Excision - Shambhala 2008 http://barefiles.com/?id=3295 (This mix is absolutely huge) Also check out this link for countless free dubstep mixes. Names to look out for are: Vex'd, 16Bit, Excision, Numbernin6, Droid Sector, Noiz. Njoy. http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewforum.php?f=2 but yes its interesting, i consider ital tek to be into the new kind of electronica, not psy, but even better imo, if you liked this release, you should try subheim, a lot different, but the same touch! ariScotle
Ok - I'm starting to get into the whole dubstep idea but I CAN NOT STAND any of it that is filled with constant hip-hop and reggae sounds Can someone make me some recommendations for good stuff (new and classic) that is just really great dubby music without all the ghetto influences? I'm interested, and waiting for the right suggestions... Cheers
Trolsk
A blog post from Brittish newspaper The Guardian about bubstep and ketamine: "The drug ketamine has long skulked around dance music's fringes, but has it found its synergy with wonky's disembodied beats?"
