pr0fane
Title: From A to Z Made by: DJ pr0fane (Denmark) Label: Iboga Records Style: Techno/Progressive psytrance/Full on Total playing time: 74 minutes Date: February 11th, 2009 Format: MP3 (VBR) Size: 107 MB Equipment used: Pioneer CDJ200 & Numark Axis 2 + Pioneer DJM400 Download URL: http://www.doei.org/misc/pr0fane_-_From_A_To_Z.mp3 About "From A to Z": "From A to Z" is one of the shortest sets I have recorded, but at the same time also one of the most diverse. I like variety in my sets, and for this one I wanted to try and make a relatively seamless yet still quite extreme increase in BPM and shift in moods. The BPM increases from 128 to 140 in just over one hour - going from deep and mechanical techno over melodic progressive trance to morning full on. The set has some of the most frequently played tracks in my sets in 2008, as well as some slightly newer material. Enjoy! Tracklist: 01. BLT - Patterns Of... (A. Balter Extended Version) // Iboga Records 02. Perfect Stranger - Clear Vision '07 (Fiord Remix) // Iboga Records 03. C-Jay & Citizen - Burnout // Flow 04. Vibrasphere vs. Ticon - Dewdrops // Tribal Vision 05. Perfect Stranger - W // Iboga Records 06. Egorythmia - We Can Fly // Iono Music 07. Ace Ventura - Exposed (Liquid Soul Remix) // Iboga Records 08. Protonica - Final Steps // Synergetic 09. Quantize & BLT - Monkey & The Rabbit Shoulders // Iboga Records 10. Liquid Soul - Push // Iboga Records 11. Zen Mechanics & Allaby - Immerse // Neurobiotic 12. Silicon Sound feat. DJ Psychotrop - Hyperion // Neurobiotic Links: Website: http://www.sunrisesupplies.com MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/pr0fane Iboga Records: http://www.iboga.dk Iboga Booking: http://www.iboga-booking.com

PRS
I like it a lot. Very professional. But not your first mix to inspire me, you just have a great taste. Would also love to hear a full on mix from you some time, but I would think you don't know enough full on songs to make a good selection like this, as I take it you don't like it all that much. ps. do you have recommendations for techno releases that fit well into your multi style mixing? Thanks I do like some full on, but I must admit it's getting further between. I mostly prefer labels like Nano, Neurobiotic, Alchemy and Turbo Trance. Regarding techno releases there is a lot of good stuff out there. The best match for progressive psytrance releases is probably stuff like Ido Ophir, Gabe/Velkro, Miki Litvak and AstroNivo who all a background in the psytrance scene, but also acts like Len Faki, Butch, Spektre, Fergie, Dyno, Pig & Dan, Umek, Christian Smith & John Selway usually produce tracks with lots of punch.
