Well, when I look back some melody structures were like trance so it's all related in the end if you ask me. anyway, if you'd have to choose a top 5 what would it be? Here's mine: 1. Goa-Head Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I was born in 1977 and grown up exactly in the era of euro-house/euro-dance; whatever name you like. 1994-1995 were the heyday years, up to somewhere in 1996 it still existed but after the scene dwindled; commercial trance started to rule. Countless are the tracks that I remember. The first tracks I taped were of this kind; but I also taped "repetitive music" which later I discovered was called Techno, Goa, Hardcore...and turned to that by 1996. My friends still enjoy having those tunes on their mobiles Quote

Classics like Adelante, Encore un fòuis, Ecuador, the secret, Mysterious times++ are timeless, and fantastic, trance/ dance songs IMO. What I like about alot of dance and trance is the emphasis on cathcy, positive and fun melodies :posford: Quote
