Guest veridia
yeah, all those stores Daniel mentioned are good. Paul Okenfold's - A voyage into trance CD has a good selection of goa, I've seen it in US shops. The only good CD I've heard with Okenfolds name on it anyways. He sort of plays that pop-hip-hop stuff now in Bunkka. yuck
Guest Daniel
lol, funny you mention "A Voyage Into Trance"....that was the first psy-trance album I ever bought....I bought it even before I new what psy-trance was!!! I previewed it at Borders Books and Music and bought it immeadiately....I couldn't believe the craziness of the music I heard and then a few weeks later while searching on amazon.com for some of the artists off the album I ran into a list of Goa Essentials and that's where I saw a little blurb about a group called Infected Mushroom who I never had heard of....well I decided to download the track that amazon.com was offering for free and it was "Symphonatic" and ever since I listened to that track I fell in love with Infected Mushroom and the entire genre of Goa. So I found my way here and that's how it all began....thanx Paul Oakenfold for spinning psy-trance. on a side note....Paul Oakenfold's older CD's (before Bunkka) were great, like "Resident: 2 Years @ Cream".... "Perfecto Presents: Travelling".... "Perfecto Presents: Another World".... "Tranceport".... "Global Underground: New York" etc.
Guest Dr. Krelm
Hi Anthony, from the author line in your post, it looks like you are in Houston. AFAIK, there is practically no psytrance in Houston, but there are plenty of trancers and some parties a few hours away in Austin and in Dallas. This is the link for a goa-related mailing list (mostly) for people in Texas. http://www.txraves.org/mailman/listinfo/sgoa There are also a few people from Texas that post in the board on http://psytrance.us Good luck! Guest reggidaoG
hey Dr. Krelm, is it really you? you have some very nice recommendable mixes in your pocket. thx from this side for your contributions ) ---- and to Anthony: just a tip: never trust people that tell you that you have to behave in a specified way to get something you wouldn't get if you don't behave as they tell you. These people are never interested in you but in themselves (for example: if you want to get goatrance then you have to buy it here or there. But you HAVE TO BUY IT.) It's okay (if YOU decide to support different artists with your money for whatever reason) that you pay your bucks but normally you don't need to because there are tons of free goatrance out in the world. goatrance has no heroes nor will it ever, so be careful with people that would never ask for the circumstances of your questions. look behind the stones. you will understand and find what you are searching for )
