bwhale
Well here is "Alien Invader (2:33 promo cut)", that I just produced with FL: http://www.sendspace.com/file/sfwgfc Thx for ur feedback!
supergroover
first: Label your files well. it 's just called invaders. If you want them to contact you if they ever like it, you need to add name email etc in the filename. Or add it to the tag. second: your track is a little too simplistic with no bas and too many organs it feels more like a modern piece of gospel than goa to be hones dont let me stand in your way of music production though.. keep going on! supergroover
many tracks that were released were made in FL so you can use that if you want.. Maybe read the manual first about the synths. It might surprise you how usefull they can be. And read the production forum on isratrance: here

Agneton
Why not using FL? Especially in Nu school goa there are tons of respected and talented names using this program...so...I don't see the problem? Just to give a few examples... Antares, Aerosis, Artifact303, New Born, The Grey Guy, Cosmic Silence, Amithaba Buddha/Pandemonium/Lost Buddha, Travma, me ...

Some people just like to blame software for their lack of competence (or their lack of knowledge).

bwhale
OK well I couldn't do anything at all with Cubase so I just deleted it. I like how Reason has syntsh in it, but it appears useless without a keyboard which I don't have.

Malevol3nt
Software/Hardware doesn't make music, people make music. If you wanna blame someone for he "newschool" sound, then you should blame the record labels that accepted so many uncreative artists, all because they wanted to make a profit. bwhale
Guys I got the Synth1 thing from the sticky thread and made another track only out of "custom sounds" instead of the FL default sounds. :posford: It's almost as bad... maybe even worse. :wank: I wanted to add some "PEW PEW PEW" sounds in the middle there but I couldn't figure out how to make them. http://www.sendspace.com/file/sio1fn

f0rce
It support's the same vst's as cubase, logic or live ect... So what's the difference? I heard that Krumelur did his tracks in Fruity back then , maybe not now a days... But whatever , the DAW is not the bottleneck.. Its the PERSON ... FL is a nice app , but Ableton is even more niceness !
