South East Asia in May and June

Dear all!

 

I'm planning a trip from Vietnam to Thailand pasing through Cambodia and maybe Lao, does anyone have some recommandations about where to go, where to avoid?

 

I'm especially thinking about Thailand that should be perverted by tourism. Where are the places where the people go for the music and not only for getting drunk on a beach?
